I know this video is old, but... we got a "helluva deal" on a matched set of these, got it home and hooked up, and had this very problem! It wouldn't drain. Researched for DAYS online (no, really.) Learned and tried calibration & diagnostic modes, even found error codes and all that (which it says btw, "takes too long to drain" ... like we didn't know!) We let it sit for about 4 days, and it suddenly started working - right after we purchased a new board. Sent the board back, it ran great for a month, then bam! Stopped draining again. Replaced the drain pump, made sure it wasn't plugged, etc.. still nothing. It's a royal pain to get it to go into diagnostic mode btw, both times we had this issue. We have to unplug it, press start to clear capacitors, plug it in, wait 10 min or so, THEN we can put it into diag mode - if lucky. If not, repeat until it works. Just bought a new board, so we'll see if that works. Really hoping you're right!

I have this washer and it has stopped spinning. I can get it to spin with the calibration mode. I have went through a lot of the diagnostics in the manual. Question, the optical sensor is reading 12.04VDC but the manual says it needs +13VDC. Is that within working range? Or should I replace the control board?

I have a Cabrio machine. I tested the actuator motor for the ohms at the J16 terminal 1 and 2 but no ohms at all I then tested the black wire No.1 and the 3rd wire red and got 2.21 ohms. The book said test the 1 and 2 terminal so what am i doing wrong? Ohms should be 2-3.5 at 1 and 2 on J16 plug to motor but nothing. It seems that the terminals are not where they are supposed to be so what is wrong?

Whirlpool wtw5000dw1 when trying to do a diagnostic test the lights don't light up Only the spin light flashes When you press the start button down to cancel it clears the light and start humming. When I spin the tub manually the humming stops. When I stop spinning the tub the humming starts again. Any suggestions would be appreciated
