I love muay boran it's one of the most beautiful and brutal martial arts it's more brutal than muay thai I mean Muay Thai is bural but Muay boran has more jumping and kicking and more spinning kicks and spinning elbows and knees and it's like a mixture between Muay Thai and taekwondo and it just makes the martial art beautiful and in real life I been learning Muay boran and muay thai with my dad since I was 6 years old

👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻 Some facts about Muay Chaiya: The Muay from the city of Chaiya mainly refers to a certain Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. Ket Sriyapai was the son of a governor who was active in sports promotion and brought Muay Veti fighters (Muay Thai) from Chaiya to Bangkok to promote them there. Ajarn Khet never learned Muay Thai himself. The only reason why he is called "Ajarn" is that he has written and published some (fictional) stories about Muay Thai fighters. Ajarn Ket came from a high-ranking family and therefore never fought in a boxing ring. That would have been inappropriate for his standing. His actual profession was civil servant in the building industry. Later Muay Chaiya generations (for example Ket's school friend Tonglor Yalee) mixed normal Muay Thai techniques with Silat (Indonesia), Wushu (China) and Jiu Jitsu (Japan). For these reasons Muay Chaiya, and everything that comes from this direction, can neither be called an old nor a real Thai martial art. *Some facts about Muay Korat* General Amnat Pookrisuk is a senior military officer who in his spare time teaches his own interpretations of Muay Veti (Muay Thai) to foreigners. Throughout his military career he has never fought in a boxing ring. He was never qualified as a Muay Thai teacher (Krob Kru) and is only an admirer of this sport. His famous „water buffalo technique“ comes from the (supposedly fictional) stories of Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. Amnat likes to teach outside Thailand when he is on a business trip. Because he is a senior member of the military, he cannot be prosecuted. He knows many Thaiboxers through his participation in the betting business at Lumpini Stadium. He only learned Judo and Taekwondo from his military training. He mixed these styles with normal Muay Thai techniques and exports them abroad. Occasionally he claims to be able to do Ling Lom, but this is not true. Muay Korat was never in a Muay Thai fight and can neither be called an ancient nor a pure Thai martial art. 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻 Some facts about Muay Lopburi: The Muay from the city of Lopburi is just normal Muay Veti (Muay Thai) that tries to ride the Muay Boran wave. It has no special technical features and is definitely not Ling Lom. Muay Lopburi became known by the film "Ong Bak“. The naming of the techniques is strongly based on the Rammakian saga. The Rammakian is a stage-play that was translated into Thai language under the reign of King Rama II. (1809-1824) and thus became widespread. As a result, many of the so-called „ancient techniques" of Muay Lopburi cannot be older than 200 years. Members of the Muay Lopburi have not yet been able to answer the question of what their techniques were called before. that time. Southeast Asian is alway a mixture of cultures, there’s no such thing is purity. Weapons and our culture are based on the Ramayana culture( based on old Hindu) and the Chinese and the Malay have been in the Thai kingdom since the old days in both business(as merchant through the Silk Road) and religious practice. So, are the Japanese came as a merchant also, therefore not just Thai are influence through those sphere of the East Asian and the Malay art. Laos, Cambodian, Burma, and Champa(Vietnam) are influence through the same culture as well. Even, the practice of carrying a keris or krid in thai are practice among our noblemen of the time, moreover the “ Panji tale” of the java island are shared throughout that part of the world, which keris are presented throughout the Ramayana or the Ramakian play. As long as it practical that all it need, my people have lived till this days and never been colonized by any European countries. That can speak for itself.
