Picking Up My Brand New KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO

This is definitely not how I pictured my first day with the 1390 Super Duke R EVO!
What is going on KTM? The dashboard kept throwing lots of errors with traction control, tail lights and even fuel pump!
Unfortunately the bike is now back at KD Motorcycles for a complete check up and hopefully I'll get it back soon!

Yes. They are very voltage sensitive. Always have mine on a trickle charger 🍻

Had something similar on my gen 3 1290 SDR just after I bought it…warning lights all over dash etc. read online it might be related to low battery voltage. I kept it on a battery tender after that and never had another issue with it in 2 years.

Can we get an update on the bike any more problems with this or did trickle charger fix it. Thats got to be heart breaking to spend that kind of money and have issues as soon as u leave the lot. I want one so bad love the way they look but damn they make me nervous ​@gmmotomedia

Just got mine back from its first service today. No problems with 750 miles on the clock. Well, it told me the key was out of range once.

I just got my SD last week in Friday, i got the same issue you had, rode it for 6 KM started to turning off it self for no reason, TC malfunction, engine light, but not a fuel pump error, then it totally died on me, called the tow truck, and brought it back to the dealership, their answer in my case was” the gasoline was dirty” (i didn’t had even the time to put gas in it) now it seems working fine after been in the workshop for 2 days.
Shall i trust what they told me or not?

I hope you answer me back.....ya I have the same bike and it's very funny that you have the same problem anyway mine was the computer needed to get updated that's what they said to me anyway so it's been done and no more problem's.... I can say this if I have anymore issues with it I Will Ride it till it blow's up and I Will help it find it's way too The junkyard.....it took me a lot of work and Long weeks too pay for this bike and I worked to hard for me to deal with anything thing that is going to get Me angry.......so far so good now that I have been talking about it I probably will have a issue with it... I truly love The hell out of it it's everything that I wanted in a bike.. hopefully you read this and can tell me how you are doing with your beast...... thanks brother..
