- We tackle a seriously challenging rally road on the new expansion for Forza Horizon 5, and to test it out we all build rally cars, from the sensible options likes my Galant to much less sensible options like a Shelby Cobra.

Blakey's journey from getting eliminated in his heat against Gliscor to getting rescued by finishing 2nd in the spanners final, to climbing his way to take overall victory by beating Gliscor in the final is like some kind of a movie.
Also, congrats to Shadow Marine for joining the crew.

An Espada going sideways on a rally stage truly is a glorious sight to behold
I've decided to go with form over function with my build, just because if you're going with an evo in a rally tournament you have to make it look the part. Also having skill issues did not help
love these vids especially because of the great commentary and awesome camerawork making the racing look even more exciting!
You guys should try something similar to this but with touge racing rules. Two rounds alternating one car leading one car following, the follower has to pass or keep up while the leader tries to increase the gap.
That's what I felt should have been done here, all be it this would have been a much longer video, but it still would've made this a bit better in my opinion.

Great job by the Lambo! But the drone camera was just fantastic. It's a lot smoother than on FH4. Some great cinematic shots there.. Well done!
Been getting a little bored of fh5 without a group of buds to race around with, but sheesh does this look like a blast. That finale race was such a great race despite the corolla going horribly wrong, really made that time up and fought hard, also lovely to see nobody is ramming anyone intentionally!

Watching a lambo win a Rally tourney makes me wish some insane board member for Lamborghini would decide that they want to win a world ralley cross tourney and design a car from start to finish to do that in Lamborghini's unique looks
I love the new expansion. I've been racing my B-Class '10 Clio and it also loves the expansion. Two things are true that Alex mentioned: 1) The tracks are tight, but passing is possible due to the frequency of mistakes. 2) Sliding is not the the fastest way through FH5 dirt courses. It works for Wreckfest, but not as well for this game.
That's an awesome map hope to see it more in the future, and an unexpected winner it was indeed!
Glad to see the underdog won! Why not run with anti-lock brakes on? It actually makes you faster on the dirt to slide around tight turns and it doesn't even kick in when you get the braking right. It would save you from the frustration of locking your brakes and would make for better videos.
Ah yes, those two well known rally cars, a Lamborgini Espada and a Toyota AE86 ;)

Love a rally car with ludicrous amounts of forward facing spotlights, but you managed to commentator curse yourself and then the EVO in two rounds.
The Espada should get an Honorable 1st Place simply because of the insanity of using that boat for a rally car. Yes, it has a V12 (in the front lol), but it also has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so it's a big floaty on even paved roads... I can't imagine what it was like on the dirt. lol

its called exploring track limits, id hardly call it cheating

I have the Galant with Anti-lag and it is honestly one of the craziest sounds. Just a little lift-off the throttle and it sounds like you are being shot at by a Minigun.
I'm shocked how well the Ferrari did honestly 😂 29:00 I never in my life would have bet on it to win against the escort.

Should make them do a timed solo run aswell cause some cars have basically 0 way to overtake through their own skill having to rely on the others mistakes. It would be fun to see who is actually faster

I haven't found any race in the expansion to be difficult, but they've been fun. I love the western half of the map. The eastern half can die. Whenever I'm online it seems other people agree because nobody goes to the eastern half of the map.
AC Cobra is my favorite car. I rooted against you in that race.

Race idea : makeshift team racing Forza horizon 5
Teams of 3
Choose 3 different manufacturers and 3 different classes of cars. Between you and your two teammates you have to use one of each car manufacturer and one of each class of car, but this way different teams mix and match manufacturers and car class differently.
All happens in one race so it's actually 3 races in one

03:32 it honestly looks like a Evo 7, but they aren't in the game so its probably a 8MR with a kit that was made for a 7.
I don't know what this anti lag glitch is but I like that it makes your exhaust sound like the drum section of a Scottish marching band. That Evo in particular sounds like it misses Edinburgh

I'm new to this channel, but it's really given me an interest in doing more "competitive" Forza racing!
It's a private setup, they usually race with their static filming crew. There are "VS the community" races sometimes but we haven't had that for a while now.

Why don't ya'll do this in GTA up mount Chiliad? You'll have to use a helicopter instead of a drone, but it is doable.
