- We are racing on BeamNG Drive, where not only are we trying to beat the other players to the top of a tricky mountain road, but we must beat the ever raising flood water.

Alex sliding across the finish line upside down reminded me of Clint Bowyer's finish in the 2007 Daytona 500.
Amy seems to be very vindictive and a sore loser. Case in point, flooding the entire map after the last race because she didn't make it. She was definitely trying to punt Alex into the water, not across the finish line.

Make it a championship as well. Earn points for finishing in certain positions (I recommend using 9-6-4-3-2-1). Automatic 0 points for a DNF.

This is my current favorite series. The Beamng races are always incredible!
I took a Widgeon and was duly punished for it
Conclusion: never take Widgeon
this was very good fun. a tricky road to navigate and my car choices may not have been the best
Apparently one corner on the route is in danger of being named after you (in the spirit of 'Gambon').
Beam videos are always a riot, and the amount of possibilities is incredible.

Love this performance system, would be interesting to see it in a more normal racing series style on Beam, on circuits.
Where you start with a car at like 100hp/ton (0.1ps/kg) then depending on where you end up in the race you get more or less extra power. So like if you're first you get no extra, but if you're last you get 20extra hp/ton or something. Then you do like 5-6 rounds of that.
This is sort of like a tier drop system. I like it. See who can continuously make it up to the top with less and less performance. A bit more random seeing how tight this course was and if you started out front you had a massive advantage but would def work on a different/better course more designed for group racing.

Watching this, I wonder if the map "Descent Road" would be suitable for one of these through its road area, it's extremelly bumpy though so not sure how more racy cars would work, but watching everyone scramble to try and get past the middle where it dips slightly before returning into the climb could be interesting

I'm not even the one racing and yet I find myself frantically yelling at my screen "OMG, GO GO GO, get out of the way you slowpokes" 🤣😋 I think this will make a good series for you guys, I hope you continue to sprinkle these in every so often. It's probably more fun to just have the water rise a certain level per tick, but it might be more realistic to have it be volume based and slow down as it fills more space.
the mod doesn't work like that, you set a number and the water goes up based on the number you set. you can't play with it like that. I think the most you can do is "set start limit", "set stop limit" and "set speed".

Also, what about doing a reverse flood challenge? Start near the highest map point and find a road to drive down. Furthest down without sending it off a cliff/mountain wins.
A race where the water level gradually falls from a high initial point, meaning that the later in the race it gets the bigger and more dangerous the shortcuts one can attempt get.
Really loving these race the flood videos please keep doing them 🙏 I appreciate there must be a bit of prep that goes into getting the flood speed balanced for each class of car but it seems like you nail it every time!
