Patrick it’s different in kpop members can say lines in English but it’s not mandatory as long as your korean is okay in “kpop” then it’s okay english is not mandatory

Yeah i dont think z girls and kaachi are good points of reference,,,, they really have contrasting agendas, target audience and much controversially, their ethics.
Z girls( as well as their brother group ) ARE NOT trying to fit into the sphere of kpop. They wanted to generate their own version of pop called Z-Pop that targets the standards of the current mainstream generation, the generation Z (1996-2015 disputedly, statisticians and sociologists still argue on the exact dates). The only reason why they were all trained in South Korea is to expose them to an extensive and hands-on training that focuses on skill development rather than "celebrity factor". Meanwhile KAACHI openly identifies themselves as K-pop and does take half-assed measures to incorporate elements of k-pop in their music videos.
idk just bottom line of the whole thing it's not very accurate to compare kaachi w other non-kpop groups. It's like comparing metal rock with ballad.
**also let me take this time to plug the idea that we have to stop shitting on kaachi and actually do something that will genuinely educate them through constructive criticism without slurring them. Really, it doesn't help. It takes much ignorance to not realize the innate presence of mental health among these girls and they have the right to sue us for libel/defamation.

FINALLY someone mentioned something about a target audience when you see SB19 and Z POP you see who they want to please, who is their TARGET audience for kaachi it truly cant be seen is it the UK? Is it Korea?
I honestly think kaachi could have been a musical phenomenon in the UK if it was executed well and that there was more time and effort into the art.
They've stated in an interview which audience they want to reach. They said they want more western and european fans but it'd be a bonus if they can reach out to Korea as well. They want to spread kpop to others that maybe don't know about it or are iffy.
I'm kinda speechless. Jessica never fails to amaze me with her thoughts/reactions towards other groups. I smiled through out the video. :) She's really amazing! & btw she mentioned my favs sb19 & zpop

You can't just take a bunch of colors and throw them on to the girls. You can't just take a bunch of random clothes and throw them on to them. There are reasons why certain colors go with other colors. There are reasons why some clothing items go together with other clothes, and with the girls. There are certain LOOKS that girls can try to achieve. These girls are walking Fashion Disasters. Obviously the make up and looks department don't have any real idea what they are doing.
And their video has their comments turned off so that they won't have to listen to scathing comments like this one.

I did just want to mention that Z-pop also does not call themselves Kpop, just like SB19 their company had a plan to create a new genre called Z-pop which was inspired by kpop, and then SB19 came who's also inspired by kpop. I'd love to see more countries and places have kpop inspired groups that like you said take elements of kpop like the aesthetic, style of music and mix that in with something from their own country/area, but I think the reason why Z-pop and SB19 didn't have even close to the same amount of hate is because they never claimed they were kpop, they made it very clear from the start that it was BASED on kpop but still keep it separate :)

They should just form their own genre called UK-Pop 🇬🇧 instead of trying to be K-Pop. Korea took American pop music, which is basically just called pop music, and made their unique version. I think if they trailblazed their own genre where they will be seen as unique and original instead of trying to compete with the actual K-Pop industry.

Everyone -majority of people are only giving the group negative attention because of these rumors BUT also because they shouldn’t be categorized as “K-Pop” when they aren’t korean themselves.. aside from one of the members coco, and the manager, a lot of people fond it offensive that non korean girl group are going for the korean concept.. Especially when they debuted not long ago and other trainees/idols had to shed blood, sweat, and tears, harsh criticism, harsh judgements , and YEARS of working and grinding hard to get where they are now. thats why people think they shouldn’t be a K-pop group and tbh i agree. i believe being A UK-pop group would change peoples views on things if im honest. bc they only hating since kaachi members aren’t korean besides the manager and member herself, Coco.
@@kameo3963There's nothing wrong with taking some influence from others. Asian countries borrow from each other all the time and then mix it with their own elements to create something unique. Chinese and Japanese take ideas from Kpop it doesn't mean they start calling their own stuff "Kpop". They still call it Cpop or Jpop. OP is right it should just be UK pop .

I feel like it would have made sense if Kaachi promoted as a “pop-kstyle fusion” genre, and then wait to see what type of fanbase builds around that. Even if they consider kpop idol to be the coolest goal and a high compliment they want to give themselves, as someone wise once said, self-praise is no praise. Like around 9:00 when she was saying not everyone one can be *recognized* as a kpop idol. You have to earn it.
So far this is the best video regarding to Kaachi's MV reaction compared to others, because Jessica Unnie explained everything very well and she even said some things that will help to improve their music I think as well as their MV too
I also recommend ploopy's. She was someone who they asked to join, and she sheds some light on how much fault the production company might have behind all of this.

I'm an A'TIN(SB19 Fandom), i just like to thank you for emphasizing that SB19 doesn't label themselves as kpop and uses our own language in their music because i think some people keep on misunderstanding them just because they are managed by korean entertainment (ShowBT).

I think Ploopy did a video about the creation process of Kaachi so you should watch it but basically, in March, they were still trying to find members. Coco, the asian girl, had like a week to learn the dance, record and everything. Nicole, the blue haired girl, is the leader, I think that's why she's a lot on the screen.
Basically I think it was like the 3 caucasian girls and 2 others girls, they might have been korean, can't remember but these 2 left and they got Coco in instead. They had very little time to prepare and properly trained and that shows.
Most of them were in a kpop cover dance group and they dance quite well but they didn't trained enough to be synchronized.

This "KPOP" style is still really undefined yet, like we still can't really say that is "kpop" and this is not. We really need to make an accurate definition.
Kpop style back then (at least the early years of 2nd gen) was mainly known of how colorful, lively and upbeat music and MVs.
3rd gen is doing a lot of things pretty different so Kpop style really is hard to define now

사실 케이팝이 맞냐 아니냐의 논쟁은, 의미 없고 소모적이라 봅니다.
난 오히려 인종적인 관점에서 사람들의 반응을 주목하고 있습니다.
지금 일부 케이팝팬들의 반응은 너무나도 안타깝습니다...

Even Jennie said what makes kpop is the training period that the idols go through, so for them to say that they're a kpop group when they haven't gone through that is a bit of a stretch.
