I might have misunderstood this comment but yes, Koreans (or any nationality) can speak English well as long as their teachers/study source are teaching them correctly. So regardless of nationality, people can learn and speak English. RM of BTS and Hongjoong of Ateez are two examples, grew up in Korea and their English is quite understandable. So it depends on what/who you learn from.
Oppa literally means Older Brother and is only used by GIRLS. im pretty sure guys call someone older Hyung but you cant call someone younger any of those things and normally u only use them to very close friends or blood related siblings. Lets say he was blood related to Jimin (RIP Jimin) he would call Jimin Dongsaeng cause hes 6 years older. To all the people in the comments saying they're afraid they'll sound like Oli when speaking Korean, remember that first of all, Oli is not Asian. He has a strong British accent which is why his Korean does not sound as natural. Unless he actually takes learning Korean seriously and works on his Korean (accent, pronunciations), he will never be able to achieve a good sounding Korean. Most ppl who fall in the Asian race, it is quite easy for them to achieve the Korean accent (by accent I mean the speaking style don't attack me yall) than some foreigners who have strong Aussie, British or other accents like these. He has never taken any of the things he says seriously. He never worked on his Korean, he never tried to dig in the culture and I even doubt he cares about these. He just uses Jimin for popularity and clout and says he loves the Korean culture and everything just to make ppl believe he isn't using anyone for clout.

I'm Asian, and I am learning to speak and understand Korean and some other Asian Languages, and I'm kinda happy that I think my pronunciation is better than Oli, and I ABSOLUTELY do not want to sound like him. I might have misunderstood this comment but yes, Koreans (or any nationality) can speak English well as long as their teachers/study source are teaching them correctly. So regardless of nationality, people can learn and speak English. RM of BTS and Hongjoong of Ateez are two examples, grew up in Korea and their English is quite understandable. So it depends on what/who you learn from.

To all the people in the comments saying they're afraid they'll sound like Oli when speaking Korean, remember that first of all, Oli is not Asian. He has a strong British accent which is why his Korean does not sound as natural. Unless he actually takes learning Korean seriously and works on his Korean (accent, pronunciations), he will never be able to achieve a good sounding Korean. Most ppl who fall in the Asian race, it is quite easy for them to achieve the Korean accent (by accent I mean the speaking style don't attack me yall) than some foreigners who have strong Aussie, British or other accents like these. He has never taken any of the things he says seriously. He never worked on his Korean, he never tried to dig in the culture and I even doubt he cares about these. He just uses Jimin for popularity and clout and says he loves the Korean culture and everything just to make ppl believe he isn't using anyone for clout.
