Hi Dan, a couple of comments here. The little one is not a screw driver, it is called an impact driver. The clicking is not a clutch, it is when the impact mechanism takes over from "direct drive" The impacts result in the 200 Nm of torque this tool generates. The drill on the other hand does not have the impact rotary driver, but a slipping clutch. Also, that drill bit seems to be extremely blunt, or maybe it is a masonry bit which is unsuitable for this job. This is pine, it should fly through!
