- This is a review of the AEG (or Ridgid in USA) 18v brushless hammer drill.
It's actually three tools in one. A Driver, a drill and a hammer drill.
In this video I talk about the drill's features, do some drilling tests and show so close up video footage of the product.
AEG power tools are sold under the Ridgid brand in the USA.

I’m now moving from an extensive range of Ryobi cordless tools to AEG. To start I have already purchased a sub compact drill and drill driver. Absolutely awesome. Your video just sealed the deal with me going to AEG! Cheers.
Hi David. That’s awesome. I too am really happy with the AEG set.
I own the ridgid version and yours looks way better built. No chuck wobble, etc
Is the Force equivalent to the max output?
Yep the AEG is pretty well built for the price. The Force range is the high output version. I think it’s called Octane in the Ridgid branding.
@@tooloptics8651 after some research it looks like its equivalent to the max output battery
Cool, thanks for the info and the help. 👍
@@tooloptics8651 in this video near the end you see the 4ah max output.
Does it look like the newer force battery?

Wrong information. Ridgid is professional grade tools same as milwaukee
Yes you’re right. I had another listen to the video and I see that I said that they were a “midrange tool” (not the right term to use). They definitely are a professional level tool. Thanks for the comment.
@@tooloptics8651my understanding is that Rigid is the equivalent in the US to AEG
