Hiyas Wilson, Autumn is my favorite time of year; it's especially beautiful here in the Great Lakes region. Being a confirmed English, Balkan & Lakeland piper; I'm so very happy that autumn is finally arrived. The flavor profile really pops for me in the cool, brisk temps. Blends I recommend: LJ Peretti's Cambridge Flake & Tashkent Flake, Arango's Balkan Supreme, Watch City's Nor'easter, Ahab's Comfort. G & H Brown or Black Irish Twists, Coniston or Bosun Cut Plugs. These blends are my absolute favorite Autumn & Winter Blends.

Fall for me leans toward dark fired Kentucky and burley flakes.

Just found your channel brother love it. Beginner pipe smoker already loving to just sit outside here in mississippi and read the Word of God with my pipe. As a baptist most around me would frown upon it, so i just smoke it at home

I would be remissed if I didn’t mention my favorite blend in Haunted Bookshop. I know it’s a blend that most people either love or hate, and I smoke it year round. However, I think it really shines in the fall when the weather starts to turn; those burleys just go great with a fall night, backed by a little spice from the Perique!
One blend I picked up this year that has been a nice surprise is Baker Street from the Country Squire. The Latakia sits more in the background and kind of gives off a chocolate/cocoa note while the Perique offers a little nose tingle in the retrohale and a dark fruit/cherry note almost. So to me, it almost tastes like chocolate covered cherries at times, despite there being no topping (to the best of my knowledge). At other times, the Latakia picks up to give a bit more of the campfire smokiness you would expect, and towards the bottom of the bowl the Perique picks up a bit to give a spicier finish. A really interesting, and intriguing blend that pairs well with a colder night!
Larry's Blend is good stuff. One of my favorites. While I'll smoke it any time of year, I really get into it in the fall/winter months.

Love sleepy Hollow. I bought 10 ounces. I still have some left over I'm going through but with these times, you never know if or when you'll be able to get it. And they only sell it in the fall!

Top notch for sure.
Some blends I recommend are C&D Haunted Bookshop, G.L. Pease Stonehenge, and Peter Stokkebye English Oriental Supreme. They all go great with Fall, or anytime of year for that matter! Have some LJ Peretti's Thanksgiving Day on the way to try for the first time this year and I can't wait. God Bless and thanks for the great video!

If you get a chance, try mixing some Dark Fired with the Sleepy Hollow. Forget where I first saw it, but man oh man it’s good.

I enjoy C and d's we 3 kings in the fall and Winter months. That is the only erromatic blend I have found That I can stand.
I still have a few tins in my cellar of it. It certainly is a fine blend.
Great list! I actually tend to smoke a lot more aromatics and Virginias when the weather starts to turn, and I’ll save the Latakia-heavy blends for the summer when I can get outdoors more often. The theory is to try not to smoke the family out of the house. 😅

It's a common theme that verbal descriptions of to tobacco flavors do NOT sound good. But once you experience them, you understand. Tasting leather doesn't sound good. But oh what an amazing flavor in englishes.
