There’s a new dimension to your personalities that this format shares with us that we don’t see much of in the shorter edits. I am really enjoying it. These paintings are amazing and I enjoyed watching the whole process. It felt like I was in a room full of friends :)
As a certified art teacher, I think all of you were very creative and stretched your abilities. Great job! From a proportional standpoint and based on composition I think Becky's won for me. ✨✨✨
What a fun girlfriend activity! You all did great! For me it’s ✨ ✨ ✨ for the win ! However, and I mean this in the BEST way possible, Kelsey gets an honorable mention for turning Rochelle into a legitimate Simpsons character! Spot on!
Rochelle's portrait (by Kelsey) is giving me Futurama 😁 And actually there is something essentially "right" about each portrait - each captures something of the sitter really well. So 🔨 and 💚 and ✨ and 🐶 and ♥
It’s a ✨ for me!!! Portrait painting is SO hard, but I felt like Becky really captured an essence of Rachel! Anecdote: I was watching this show called Portrait Artist of the Year, its set in the UK and basically artists have 4h to complete a portrait of a famous person sitting for them.. I thought hey, I’m a painter, I wanna try it! Challenged myself to paint a french TH-camr I like… ended up spending the whole ENTIRE 4h just working on the “rough sketch”… which turned out great! But yeah, it’s hanging on my wall now, as is, love the drawing…. I haven’t found the courage in me to put paint over it… 😂 I think I’m satisfied with my “mixed media” result! It may not be the piece I had in mind when I started, but who cares! In the end, the challenge was fun, and I like what I ended up with! That’s all that matters!
I love that show and feel that it has made me think about art and paintings, and the skill that goes into it so differently! Especially when it comes to choosing colors.
As a character designer and artist myself, I absolutely love the proportions and the sheer untapped talent these pictures have! Rachel's was my favorite, but each one had its own charm and honestly you guys did such a good job. Drawing faces and people in different proportions, light, and skin tone is hard and it's a learning curve! You guys did really well! Props to you : D
As someone that does paint regularly, I cannot paint things to look like actual things without putting a grid on the photo and canvas and scaling the image. I think this challenge is even more hard mode because of that.
Was waiting for a WILDCARD to throw a spanner in the works. This series is so comforting and I can’t wait to see members of the team usually off camera get their flowers
that's all? "just"? maybe don't comment about someone's appearance if they haven't asked for it. this is a proper backhanded "compliment". let people express themselves however they want to, and you can keep expressing yourself however you want to. ❤
@TheSorryGirls Yeah, this why I don't do realistic portraits of people even if they paid me for it. It's just too hard and a very specific skills set 😅
They’re all surprisingly representative of your models, in the same vein as Alex Katz. The slant of the shoulders and skill evident in capturing both front and back teeth in a smile made Rochelle’s portrait of Becky the win for me. I was also impressed that Becky rendered a final product, given her chattering (which made the video endearing, authentically friendly, and interesting).
I’d LOVE to see a segment with Rachael and Rochelle where they talk about the journey that started with DIY’s and what lead them to Team TSG. Rochelle has a KILLER workshop and a ton of skill, that didn’t happen overnight. Rachael is fearless in what she takes on (also fearless with her fashion choices) I’d love to hear their stories
✨ Becky you did so good. It was not perfect but you and the other girls too are not artists. Give any of yall a house and you will paint it beautifully though (I am a DIYer and I’m definitely the same way! Maybe it’s a thing lol)
So technology recording you on technology free camping trip. Haha! Love all the creativity! Love to see the friendships and getting to know you all better.
Hello from Paris, are you for real? the vibe in this video is just right, sweet but not saccharine, surprisingly relaxed and never cringe. Well done! And woof woof!
this was such a fun challenge episode! Painting and especially painting faces is a learning curve, and seeing you all have fun and laugh with each other during the process was great. I've taken a few painting classes and one thing my teacher always says is "find and highlight something in the painting you're proud of" and it was nice to see everyone able to pick out a part of their portraits that they were proud of. If I had to pick a winner I'd say 💚
✨✨✨ this was fun to watch. everyone did great! Kelsey did a great job on curly hair, Rachel did great on details and overall composition, Rochelle a great job on facial expression. I chose Becky's because the shadowing adds depth and is hard to detail in paint especially with a time limit. kudos to all!
I think I like these floor challenges more than your DIY videos. I love watching you interact with each other and seeing your personalities with each other.
Kelsey really made Rochelle look like a Simpsons character. That was my immediate reaction on seeing it 😆 Vote goes to Becky for the shading and dimension ✨✨✨✨
Becky explaining her lips size in connection wither teeth…. Made a light bulb go off on my head. Gdi, that’s really it! Thanks girl for rationalizing my thoughts.
the trick is always to "cartoonify" exaggerate features and it will actually look like them! but y'all definitely made it more challenging going off of photos rather than from life! Im really loving the series and y'alls dynamic ❤
i know there have only been three episodes but i am already in love with tis segment. i think a great way to have guests in would be to get someone in and they can teach the four of you how to do something they're known for. e.g (inspo from last week) a florist could come in and help you al to make arrangements and you get to learn stuff and so do we. i don't know if you see my vision but oh well.
✨ Becky definitely did the best job. It’s so good (I’m a painting artist myself) and this could seriously be a person from my art school I was in years back. It’s so good Becky! You should do more painting ☺️❤️❤️❤️
you can really see the years of friendship between Kelsey and Becky. its so nice seeing them more together in a video, missing the old format vlogs now hahahah
✨✨ I think Becky should win I really like her portrait painting. Also I’m impressed about the one that did kelsey cause she made Rochelle look like a Simpson character, I LOVE IT🔨🔨 Everyone did a great job!! Keep going I love this channel 💕
✨ So fun to watch! Thanks for being so brave and taking on such a challenge. What a good idea for a date night. Just gotta think about how to convince my hubby on participating 😂
all of you killed it but BECKY??? ✨✨✨✨The dimension in rachels hair and face is crazy
From the workshop floor is becoming my new favourite series now ❤❤❤❤❤
we’re having lots of fun with it ✨
Kelsey's painting of Rochell makes her look like a Simpson's character. HAHA
I thought that too 😊
yes! came to say that too :)
Or Futurama!
Kelsey, you didn't give Rochelle a nose
That was the first thing I thought of.
"It's actually construction adhesive" 🤣
Rachael’s a real one
I loved how Becky painted Rachel but I couldnt take my eyes off Kelsey's portrait of Rochelle. Something about it. 🔨🔨🔨
uncanny valley 😆
Oh an apartment hunting with Rachel would have been soooo cool!

I came here to say that!
As an artist myself,I am quite impressed with how they managed in such a short time.Becky's portrait was the best for me,she nailed it ✨✨✨

@@WatchMojoLady SAME!! The Landscape Artist version is neat too, I just love to see people’s process!!
Portrait Artist is my fav show to watch! S.

Rochelle not having a nose killed me😂😂😂 nice job ladies
Okay the shading is just too good Becky ✨
Kelsey making everyone uncomfortable with that joke 😂😂😂
There’s a lot to be said for boredom. Boredom is where the great ideas are born.💚💚💚💚💚💚

🐶 Loved this so much. Laughed so hard at the end.
Im in love w/ this format
In love with you being here for the new format 💘💘
Rachael’s looks like a Simpsons character! 😂
Oh my god, I thought the exact same thing!
Rochelle too! Hahahaha
Thought the same. And one was giving Frida Kahlo. 😂
That was my exact thought 😄
they should do a simpsons filter on the photo and compare the result 😀
Can I just say, how much joy this series brings me. I love ya’ll so much so seeing you in this form of content makes my heart real happy!!
I loved hearing Becky's candid thoughts on technology use and social media during this video.
✨ I am loving the series!!! Pottery next!!
💚💚💚 love this show!!! Can’t wait all week for Saturday just to watch this!
Was waiting for a WILDCARD to throw a spanner in the works. This series is so comforting and I can’t wait to see members of the team usually off camera get their flowers
Rochelle's portrait is making me cry from all the laughing everytime I think of it, and her hair looks incredible, Kelsey has my vote 🔨🔨🔨
yay!!! yet another saturday with the girls!
I have been a fan for a few years.. I love how yall just sit down and do your thing. Love these videos
Just happy to see Rachael's brows again!
I second that..

@@recordtapesbackward funnily enough, her brows were a topic of conversation on this video and others.
The one thing from this video that you're commenting on is someone's appearance?? How she styles her eyebrows is her business
@@olbird7647 then you would have heard that she likes them bleached and hasn't asked for opinions about it, right?
Haha thanks for explaining where Rachel has been, I’ve been wondering! Happy to see you all together again 😊
I'm an artist and honestly I think this is such a hard challenge. Painting portraits/likeness of real life people is so hard!! 😂 You guys did amazing!
Okay I’m glad to hear it’s not just us lol!
@TheSorryGirls Yeah, this why I don't do realistic portraits of people even if they paid me for it. It's just too hard and a very specific skills set 😅
Always waiting for your videos every Saturday 😻
(and Tuesday! ;)
It was nice to hear about what Rachel has been up to. I'm very partial to green ☺️💚💚💚

Ok but Rochelle’s portrait that Kelsey painted looks like a fineas and ferb character 😂
Perfect Saturday series ❤
This was great! Kelsey’s laugh is contagious!!! ✨
So technology recording you on technology free camping trip. Haha! Love all the creativity! Love to see the friendships and getting to know you all better.
Becky's answer to ultimate way to relax is sooooooo Taurean 😄
This was so fun ! Another fun, chill and inspiring moment well spent ❤✨💚🐶🔨
I'm loving this new platform, "From the Workshop Floor"-- it's becoming one of my new favorites.
Hello from Paris, are you for real? the vibe in this video is just right, sweet but not saccharine, surprisingly relaxed and never cringe. Well done! And woof woof!
🔨 The one of Rochelle was the most flattering, I think. And also, it's a little bit Simpsons which makes me smile.

I LOVE THIS ❤❤❤ And the jokes had me giggling way too loud 😂
Rachel and Rochelle are out of this world ! XD luv their sense of humor
That “just a quick little *inhales into the soul itself* 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
They were all great but going with ✨✨✨
Becky explaining her lips size in connection wither teeth…. Made a light bulb go off on my head. Gdi, that’s really it! Thanks girl for rationalizing my thoughts.
I loved what Becky did with Rachaels! Also, definitely becoming one of my fave new series!! Love the girl talk ❤️
✨ the shading gave the portrait some fun dimensions ✨
I think I’d have to vote ✨✨ Rachel’s personality is really captured in the portrait
loving this series! everyone's portrait turned out great!
Love your videos, ladies!!! I get so much inspiration from all of you! I've been watching for years!!
love that rachael’s portrait is a mixture between her and trixie mattel!! v campy pop art vibes!! ✨✨✨ wins in my eyes for sure!
the trick is always to "cartoonify" exaggerate features and it will actually look like them! but y'all definitely made it more challenging going off of photos rather than from life! Im really loving the series and y'alls dynamic ❤
✨️ gonna have to vote for Rachel's portrait. Kelsey.. girl you tried your best 😂
The workshop floor series is my new favorite!!!😍
Why did I feel so uneasy with that joke lol
🐶 Rochelle’s painting of Becky is my favorite ❤
Excited to see Rachel’s new space!!
Rochelle's portrait looks like a Simpsons character hahaha
Exactly! I thought the same.
Loved hearing all the chitchat. I vote for ✨️ because it does look like a well made caricature
Acrylic 🤝 caricature
Rochelle, same here...I always stuck up for my dark brown hair! I feel better knowing I wasn't the only one on the planet doing that.
✨ Becky's portrait of Rachel was my fave!
such a good format! I giggled and laughed with you - what a treat!

This was so much fun!! Not going to tell lies, I laughed so hard, my face hurts. Fantastic!
LOVE THIS SERIES ! but my FAVORITE is CHALLENGES ,thrift flips or just diy's i miss all those
✨✨ two votes for Becky's painting of Rachel from the both of us
I just love watching ya’ll be happy and creative together. No need to vote, but Rachie’s hair was great! A little meditation practice goes a long way!
✨ Becky definitely did the best job. It’s so good (I’m a painting artist myself) and this could seriously be a person from my art school I was in years back. It’s so good Becky! You should do more painting ☺️❤️❤️❤️
Honestly I love Kelsey's painting of Rochelle ❤
Dragified Rachel and Futurama Rochell are an iconic duo
you can really see the years of friendship between Kelsey and Becky. its so nice seeing them more together in a video, missing the old format vlogs now hahahah
Hands down 🔨🔨, love the thumbnail btw and listened to your journey really make me feel like gìving up is not an answer! Keep it up girls!

Love this new concept so far !!
I can understand not liking the gap, but I loved it. Gorgeous both ways!
This. Was. Amazing! I’m so glad y’all recorded this so I can play it over and over and pretend we’re friends IRL. ✨
Kelsey drew the “Hey Arnold!” version of Rochelle. Love. 🎨🧑🎨
Those were hilarious. Rachelle looked like the Simpsons! Fun activity.
I am not on TikTok so I had zero idea this was a trend but why do I love it? Def gonna have to do it with friends or my husband!
This was fun!! I think Becky's was my favorite! ✨✨✨✨✨✨
love this concept so much!
ahh us too!
Rochelle's painting of Becky is awesome
I'm loving this new series. I would have tried a roller. 🤣. Kelsey, I once broke up with someone for the same reason.
✨ So fun to watch! Thanks for being so brave and taking on such a challenge. What a good idea for a date night. Just gotta think about how to convince my hubby on participating 😂
