I’m colorblind to red and I can confidently say it’s red!! When I see red tones they look green. Red looks like a normal shade of green kinda like grass. Pink looks kinda like a sage green and orange looks like a very yellow green. Those stairs since I know they’re warm tones. Are 100% red
But I get it the front looked a little hot pink fuschia but just because of the lighting!! Also red itself can look slightly pink if depending on type of red! Always stops me for a while when picking acrylic paints haha! ❤

There is no way those stairs are anything other than red; the only reason they would read as pink is because of the light skewing the color. And let's be honest: if people on the street were shown pictures of those two stairways and directed to point to the painted red stairs, they'd for sure point to Rochelle's over Rachael's.

'yellow' quickly turns to brown, orange or green, but adding white doesn't change the colour name (until maybe egg shell). 'red' actually has a way larger identification window, BUT adding white will make it be called 'pink' rather quickly 🤷.

Using different browsers won't make too much of a difference, but might help a little. Using incognito will also help a little, but the data still goes to your isp so it can still alter search algorithms. Using a VPN on each device would have better effect, but it's easier to simply each use your own mobile data if you don't all use a VPN, as there are layers of data mining and algorithms at play here, including within pinterest itself.

I think yellow chair is much easier compared to tomato decor, and tomato decor you can't really argue with as much, meanwhile you can argue if it's yellow or a chair- in case of a divide how about the filming crew vote if they accept it? + If you're going to take questionable answers, maybe you should have the crew vote if it's a full point or half point so you can compare the answers better! + If you clicked on an ad, not a post you should be able to go back I mean that's not fair 😅

I've tried, and it went like this: 8 clicks to find a somewhat red stairs (it was a blushy red) 4 clicks to find a tomato decor (a beautiful illustration on a gallery wall) 1 click for a mini wavy mirror, or 2 clicks for a bigger one 1 click for a yellow sofa or 2 clicks for a yellow chair And roch's stair was most definitely red!

The easiest way to mitigate would be to do it on incognito mode and/or delete cookies in the Google chrome cache between each player. There’s only so much you can mitigate though because if they follow each other on Pinterest or use the same computer to log in, the second one person sees something it’ll get sucked up into the algorithm of the other person (which is potentially why you saw the ads kelsey gets for pants on Rochelle’s profile for example).

Incognito mode, and clear cache/cookies between rounds, and use different profiles is the best way, but not failsafe because they follow each other and therefore what one is searching will influence what the others see in their suggestions. Also the person going second has the advantage of seeing how the other went about it and consider if there's a better way. Maybe they each have a laptop and search simultaneously but alternate clicks, ie player one has one click and three scrolls, then player two gets one click and three scrolls,then back to player one...?

Pink is usually a touch cooler in tone. If you mix red with white, it doesn't become cooler, only lighter. So you'd need to add blue to get hot pink from red (and white, depending on how light you want it).

The lighting is playing tricks 😂 If you focus on the top it looks like magenta or deep pink. The lighting on the bottom looks red with bit of pink. Going off of lighting, these are red for me too ❤

1. Pink is a shade of red bc white is used to make red. While orange is color because it’s a) on the rainbow spectrum & b) two primary colors are used to make it

@@TheSorryGirls yes as it would be the same computer which had a unique ID and chrome also would be able to link the profiles from the device. The easiest way to mitigate would be to do it on incognito mode and/or delete cookies in the Google chrome cache between each player. There’s only so much you can mitigate though because if they follow each other on Pinterest or use the same computer to log in, the second one person sees something it’ll get sucked up into the algorithm of the other person (which is potentially why you saw the ads kelsey gets for pants on Rochelle’s profile for example).
@@jocewaitwhatI agree. Incognito mode, and clear cache/cookies between rounds, and use different profiles is the best way, but not failsafe because they follow each other and therefore what one is searching will influence what the others see in their suggestions.
Also the person going second has the advantage of seeing how the other went about it and consider if there's a better way. Maybe they each have a laptop and search simultaneously but alternate clicks, ie player one has one click and three scrolls, then player two gets one click and three scrolls,then back to player one...?
@@SharlzGOh, I like the idea of them doing it at the same time, a real head to head match. Then in the case of a tie for number of clicks, it comes down to who was faster and had the better result. Or, maybe instead of counting clicks to win, just do a 6 click limit and whoever is faster in the head to head wins.

Pink is just light red. Just like a lighter version of blue(i.e: baby blue) is just light blue. Doesn’t make it any less blue. Sorry Rachel, you’re wrong. Rochelle is correct.
Pink is usually a touch cooler in tone. If you mix red with white, it doesn't become cooler, only lighter. So you'd need to add blue to get hot pink from red (and white, depending on how light you want it).

And magenta is a primary colour, actually! Check CMY vs RYB -videos, there are many. You can not mix it from any other colors!
Actually, adding white to red doesn't make the color hot pink (magenta). Magenta is a primary color, and adding yellow to it will make red!
So magenta and red definitely are different colors.
Just "pink" could mean red+white. But even that is often magenta+white. And I don't think anyone thought the stairs are like pastel pink.
Why some saw them as hot pink could be because of the lighting in the picture or on the screen (daylight and screens have more blue light that could make them appear more magenta).

I found painted stairs with red as one of the paint colors just in my first three scrolls!
I found tomatoes, but edible ones and it was an Amazon listing. Couldn't find an actual tomato pin after 6 clicks.

The lighting is playing tricks 😂 If you focus on the top it looks like magenta or deep pink. The lighting on the bottom looks red with bit of pink. Going off of lighting, these are red for me too ❤
