    As usual most fun is Home Minister/Big boss watching if project is going as it should be 😂. And when final moment come to finish up the project. BTW - Good job and great backyard with fantastic view.

    Mad respect for digging that Georgia Clay and in the hot sun. Last week it was in the 90’s. So, I feel your pain…

    Beautifully done. Your husband is a trooper. Wanted to share that I just saw a "Garden Auger Spiral Drill" they basically dig holes. It "may" be a tool you might want in your arsenal of other tools. Thank you for sharing your video. It inspired me that I may try this using the hand held Auger Drill

    Hey Brittany and Matt, Another amazing New Home project completed by the Dynamic Duo! God Bless you Matt for your endurance in the hot Georgia Sun! I do not know if I would have survived the heat. I would have passed out...lol. The Pergola looks Great! I love how you made it into a seating area in your backyard. It looks so cozy, Enjoy! The large potted Plants are just beautiful and brings the space to life. Stay Cool! Matt, I hope you had an amazing Father's Day! God Bless YOU Guys! I will see you soon. Your Fan and Friend, Christine 🤠

    Use the wet vacuum to suck up the dry dirt instead of using the shovel. You will be surprised how fast you can clear a hole.

    Again you and your husband have done a great job on that pergola, I have those Chairs on my front porch; what was I thinking you should see me and my husband when we’re trying to get up out of them 🤣🤣. You’re definitely designers that’s for sure. I’ve been a decorator in my head for years, back in the day I used to decorate a lot of my friends homes, can’t do that anymore. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

    Way to go! That pergola looks amazing. You did a great job applying that stain with the FLEXiO 3500. Thanks for a great summer project, stay cool 😎

    I’m having to play catch-up on the last few videos and… Now your well deserved vacation begins. I miss y’all already!!! Enjoy and know that y’all remain close in thought and prayers… 😘♥️👍🏾🗽

    So much truth here. Digging this holes is back breaking work. I am currently building a fire pit on my property and had to dig several nearly 4 ft deep holes 🤦🏼‍♂️😭 The outcome makes it worth it though.

    • @thisgeorgiaclay
      @thisgeorgiaclay  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sure does. Man has this space so much since that video was created. We now have an auger and that makes digging a hole so much faster.

    This mat be a dumb question but what is the point of that type of pergola? It does not provide shade, is it for pictures? Not trying to be mean, I really don't know. Thanks.

    • @thisgeorgiaclay
      @thisgeorgiaclay  ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct. We already have a deck for shade so this area is for plants/pictures and we’ll be making a fire pit area in front of it this summer. It’s a great decorative addition that a lot of people use to frame out gardens etc…
      By the way, not a dumb question at all 😊 Thanks for asking.

    Thank you Brittany I saw the video I got a message that it’s been shipped. Once I get that I will send you a picture of it and where I’m going to hang it. I have also been busy painting my bedroom something that used to take me a few hours now takes me a few days 🤣🤣🤣. I’m old lady. Thanks again for choosing me. 😊. Curlypdub a.k.a. Regretting life decisions 🤣🤣🤣

  • @AiraynaHawkins
    @AiraynaHawkins ปีที่แล้ว

    first i would of made the 4x4 way for supportive with concrete
    it will bend everytime and that sunsail will rip & you have no middle pc so heavy resin will make it even worse & i hope you have fire resistant material your fire will go directly up 😢
    but since you didn’t make it permanent just move blocks out more so tarp is stretched out

    • @thisgeorgiaclay
      @thisgeorgiaclay  ปีที่แล้ว

      Umm 🤔 I don’t have a sunsail nor will I be buying one. Not sure what vlog you were watching 😝 Any tarp that you saw was temporary bc it rained and it was covering the hole for water.

    • @thisgeorgiaclay
      @thisgeorgiaclay  ปีที่แล้ว

      Umm thank you. We did use concrete… the footing is 2 feet deep and it’s plenty stable. Fire is dangerous in general but builders don’t make decks fireproof so I’m not sure what you mean but have a great day 🙂

      Thanks and actually it is a pergola. They come in all sizes. I encourage you to Google pergola. I’ve also included a link for your reference. The more we know then we can provide great feedback. Have a great day!
