Don’t be mistaken. There is no stalemate here. The resistance is gaining ground. Everywhere.
The junta is losing control all across the country. Everybody hates them, and they are faced with heavy losses on a daily basis.
    It’s been 2,5 years of resistance 💪🏽.
A whole people against the Military. This is a revolution and they will succeed.

      The Anglo West would commit and practice a great many cardinal sins, many of them knowingly, such as centuries-long global;
      - 'Colonization',
      - 'Genocide',
      - 'Slavery',
      - 'Colonialism',
      - 'Global Warming', etc which benefits them enormously for centuries worldwide; then they would initiate and take a measure to ban those practices worldwide, and take credit for it.. [Note: Today's global warming is caused in large part by nearly two centuries of excessive coal burning, mainly in the West.]

"Speaking of ethnic and religious tragedies Burma/Myanmar facing today, the fact that the world's longest Civil War which is in Myanmar, mainly between Buddhist Burmese and Christian ethnic people was made it possible, prolonged and supported by Anglo Western bloc of USA, UK & Australia, etc while they are using next-door neighbor Thailand (which has a defense treaty with them) as a base camp since in the 1950."
In my humble opinion, ethnic refugees & others fleeing the conflict/war in Myanmar are entitled to cross over to Thailand to stay, as well as eligibility to relocate to new places such as the UK,USA, Australia & New Zealand.

Well, the relationship isn't that good. The military junta in control of the government fights rebel forces, made up of Wa and Kokang state. Wa and Kokang state are mandarin chinese people, and as such, the military hates the chinese rebels too.
So China and Myanmar are stuck at an impasse where both sides want to move on, while also being unable to do so since the CCP cannot publicly back myanmar in fear of losing support from the chinese rebels in myanmar, and myanmar cannot publicly back the CCP due to chinese rebels being their enemy

There were a few small lords or kingdoms in this area before and some area was took from neighbour countries (like Thailand) by British. There can be nothing to help Myanmar now. It's a country divided, disunited, leaderless and feudal by its own. The junta, proclaiming itself defenders of Myanmar, have only controlled the Irrawaddy Basin. The rest of the nations are run by warlords and fiefdoms, with no one cooperates with the rest. I have witnessed the situation in the Kachin and Shan states before, can easily realise how Myanmar's structure is. The only way for Myanmar is to free itself from the pains it created, either by dismantling the whole institutions and rebuild from zero, or the country must be fragmented like in Yugoslavia.

Jstark is an advocate of the right to bear arms and has dedicated his life to that goal by designing firearms that can be created by the people. This lead to his arrest and sudden death, the cause of which is said to be a "heart attack". The conflict in Myanmar shows the importance of firearms and the need of people to be vigilant in fighting for their rights and freedoms like Jstark. For instance, there's hardly any Muslim, Hindu or Christian there up until Colonialism.
It's fair to say that many of these tragedies that nation facing today, such as racial, ethnic and religious conflicts, started with Colonialism.

Speaking of ethnic and religious tragedies Burma facing today, the fact that the world's longest Civil War which is in Myanmar, mainly between Buddhist Burmese and Christian Karen (while Buddhist Karen are largely at peace) was made it possible, prolonged and supported by Anglo Clans of USA, UK & Australia, etc while they are using next-door neighbor Thailand (which has a defense treaty with them) as a base camp since in the 1950.
In my humble opinion, ethnic Karen refugees fleeing the conflict/war in Myanmar are entitled to cross over to Thailand to stay, as well as eligibility to relocate to new places such as the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand.

Speaking of the coups in Burma and some others around the world today are totally different from the coups which took place over half a century earlier when newly independent nations, including Burma, just came out of centuries-long Colonialism, bitter and poverty-stricken, turned to a new deal of Social-Democratic system (Socialism/Communism).
Today's coups, in most cases, are changes in the political system only, while the economic system is mostly left intact. Like I said, today's coups, in nations such as South Korea, the Philippines & Thailand, in most cases, are changes in the political sector only, while the economic/investment sectors are mostly left intact.
So what is this the fact that the West & their Western news media hardly utter a negative word about coups in Asian nations such as South Korea & the Philippines in the past and Thailand today; and yet the West, Western news media and their affiliates hardly have a day goes by without having negative comments & reactions regarding coup in Myanmar.
May I ask why are they treating it so differently with Myanmar and most of all, what are they up to, what are their true motives behind all these?
Speaking of the USA-led joint annual military exercise in Thailand, which has been under military coup since 2014, and true, last August 2021/22, the largest annual military exercise was held among fully participating nations, USA, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia & Singapore.

The military put su ki in a corner with the ethnic cleaning of the Rohingya while she was in office. The Rohingya were not supported by much of the Buddhist majority, so Ki did not object t, either out of conviction or she lacked the will and political capital. Either way, her tacit support for the genocide cost her her international reputation, and the military was able to oust her to relatively muted global protest.

She was pro-genocide and made speeches to that effect. The assumption of anything else is wishful thinking.

@@systemicthinking there was no genocide, its ethnic cleansing. Western media is being biased as always. Rawandan genocide was a real genocide, people these days use the word genocide rather easily but this is not true

The Rohingya are radical Islamists akin to the Taliban or Isis.
