I just turned 53 and used to do step ALL THE TIME. A hip replacement later I just found your videos and love them. The music on this one was spot on too! Thank you!
Normally, I like 132 BPM or more for step. Even though this was only 128 BPM, I LOVED IT! Not only did get a pretty dang good sweat on, I had fun busting some of my favorite moves to some awesome grooves. Thanks for opening up a new BPM world, Chris. 💜
This was really fun! Not too crazy, not too fast, but entertaining and not boring. And the music!!! A+! This may be my favorite playlist ever. Fame AND Tarzan Boy??! Yes, please! Thank you!
Today was a "Stay in, get chonky" kind of a Saturday... But I still wanted to do step, just not a long or hard one, so I tried this. Glad I did! Chris and her routines make me want to exercise even when I don't feel like it. Great music!! Pretty much nonstop HITS -also: TARZAN BOY gives me LIFE please don't judge me. Thanks, Chris, for all your hard work!
Going back to post after doing this workout live. Thanks for the shout out. I like when it’s 128 bpm. I can use my riser and do my movements large. Fun music. Thanks ❤
I have done advanced step for a long time, but never added risers. This morning I decided to try step with risers and chose this workout to be my maiden voyage. It was perfect! I will continue to do more basic/intermediate step workouts with risers!
I wanted something quick so I chose this and doubled up the risers. It’s been a bit since I did double risers. Wow, that makes it tougher. Fun music! Thanks so much! 🙂
128 BPM allows you to really get deep in the moves- big knees/kicks- low squats and add spirit hands! Nice change of pace for a sweaty 30 minute workout. Thanks Chris! ❤😊
Love this slower workout. Since it was only 30 minutes (I have day off today and had extra time) I did rewind but couldn't find the markers on my TV. But saw them on my computer when checked. Have a healthy 2024 and keep those workouts coming.
I did a lot of step in the early 90’s, but it’s been a long while since I’ve done any. Found your channel this morning, and just did this workout, and remember how much FUN step is. Love it! Gotta get a bit more experience with the choreo, but I kept moving and enjoyed it so much.
Great music, great choreography. The slower pace allows for greater range of movement and that REALLY keeps the heart rate up; I rewound the full cardio section just because it was so fun. Thanks Chris for all you do for your community.
Thank you Chris! I found your workouts looking for step classes and haven’t looked back. Love the variety of fun fitness you bring to us at home folks.
Thank you Chris! 😊 The perfect fun workout to get me back into it after two weeks of very little structured exercise and lots of food and drink! You are absolutely right when you say it's what you do between New Year and Xmas that counts, which is why I always cut myself a bit of slack around Christmas. There is always so much to do, and I just want to enjoy relaxed time with family without beating myself up for eating chocolate and having a few cocktails! Life is too short. I am looking forward to working out with you in 2024. Hope you enjoyed the holidays! ❤❤❤
I am uncoordinated and can't follow the choreography but that being said, you are an excellent instructor! Giving clear instruction and preview of what's coming up. Plus naming the steps (maybe they already have names?) In a way that is logical such as the "stomp" is so helpful. I'm not giving up, I'll keep plugging away.
Thanks so much Sue!! Have you tried any of my basic step workouts? I also have a full playlist of learn step aerobics tutorials here if you need to learn!!
the weights lesson is so true i weigh as much as i ever did but have been dedicated to strength training for 5 years strong i have maintained a smaller size since starting that journey and look better than i did when i actually weighed less!
step is usually not my things. I do like to do it when you have 30 minute step workouts. Loved this workout. It was fun and motivating, with awesome music.
This was my first step class.. instead of a step I used a towel instead. It was so much fun and challenging. I'm definitely going to do this particular one again.
Had to jump back into the routine with this one. Perfect amount of time and bpm. And you can never go wrong with 80s tunes! Happy New Year! Looking forward to a great year with cdorner fitness 🎉
I didn’t know if I would like the slower pace but it was great and the music was good also! Thank you for another great workout and your helpful info at the end.
Another fabulous workout! I was having fun and sweating like crazy. I really appreciate the total time timer and the sections divided. I did go back and do again until I got it right. Loved this so much!
I'm really enjoying doing some of the more basic and slightly slower step routines because I find it makes me more aware of my form. One of my first step instructors (many moons ago) always said your feet should be quiet on the step and harped on it in class. When my core is tight, my feet are quiet. When I focus on not stomping, I can feel my form is better. I am more aware of the sound of my feet when I work out at home because everyone in step class had loud feet so it drowned my bad form out. These slower more basic step workouts are going to help me get 2024 off on the right (quiet) foot. ;). Thanks Chris!!!!!
I used to hate inner thighs and would modify with knees, but it dawned on me during this workout that I actually look forward to them now. Thanks for always pushing us to do the things we don't like:)
I just found your videos and I've done 2 workouts so far and can't wait to try more. You said something in this video "one is enough" regarding cardio workouts and it really resonated with me. I am trying to get back into step after years of not doing it and I had a really bad habit of doing 2 or 3 workouts a day. This gave me the reminder not to overdo myself and not to get into those habits again. Thank you!
woohoo! guess who finally got a step?!! Gonna take a few sessions to figure out the choreography- had a confused expression most of the class but didn't fall down and loved it!
I'm in my 50s and used to do step all the time. So starting out with Beginner/Basic to get back into it. However, I tried one of your 135BPM classes and found that I get a better workout and my heart rate actually gets up higher with the 128 to 130BPM range. At my current weight/fitness level, along with injuries over the years, and a bit of arthritis kicking in, I can't get big with the movements when the music is faster, and my legs are struggling to keep up with the pace so I don't really use my arms. 128 to 130BPM seems to be my sweet spot for pace, at least for now. Would love to see some Intermediate and Advanced choreography done in the 128 to 130BPM rang for us seasoned steppers who need to move a bit slower. I love, love, love your classes! Have even tried some of your step and weights interval classes and also just weights.
Love the workout thank you. I just found your step work out again after the first of the year. Glad to be back. Thank you for posting these. Have a great rest your day.🎉
Great workout! I haven't kept up with my workouts this month. This was a great one to get back into it! I'll be doing one of your strength training workouts tomorrow. Thank you for always motivating us to be healthy!! ❤
This was so much fun and great music. I found myself smiling each time a new song came on.
I just turned 53 and used to do step ALL THE TIME. A hip replacement later I just found your videos and love them. The music on this one was spot on too! Thank you!
YAY Thank you so so much!!!
More 80's please!! So much fun!! Loved it!! Thanks Christina 💜
More to come!
Yes! The 80's are the best imo. Loved this choreo!
Just did this one for the second time and really enjoyed the pace, choreo and music! Elvis' moves are my fav! 🧑🏻🎤
I saw your channel and ran out for a step. I haven't done this since my 20s. I'm 49. Omg, so fun. Love it. HUGE THANK YOU❤
WOOOOOOO YAY!! Thank you so much for joining me Charlotte!!!
Love the 80s music!! Great workout!
Loved this one!! My first step class since back injury-thanks to Dr.Jenn!! Felt great- see ‘ya 2023!! Here’s to CDF in 2024!!💕🥵🎉
Recently found your workouts when I was reminded how much I miss step and am loving your classes!
Hi @yvonnefall12! Welcome! Thank you for saying hello :)
Normally, I like 132 BPM or more for step. Even though this was only 128 BPM, I LOVED IT! Not only did get a pretty dang good sweat on, I had fun busting some of my favorite moves to some awesome grooves. Thanks for opening up a new BPM world, Chris. 💜
Love the full C marker. I did it again! This is a good flowing workout!
This was really fun! Not too crazy, not too fast, but entertaining and not boring. And the music!!! A+! This may be my favorite playlist ever. Fame AND Tarzan Boy??! Yes, please! Thank you!
I repeat that I like the lower bpm because of certain physical limitations. The choreo is more accessible that way. Loved this choreo.
Today was a "Stay in, get chonky" kind of a Saturday... But I still wanted to do step, just not a long or hard one, so I tried this. Glad I did! It’s amazing that even slow and steady can work up a sweat! Keeps you concentrated on form versus speed!
I have done advanced step for a long time, but never added risers. This morning I decided to try step with risers and chose this workout to be my maiden voyage. It was perfect! I will continue to do more basic/intermediate step workouts with risers!

Love the music and choreo! Great and fun step workout. Thanks Chris❤
Chris’ step workouts are always top notch! There is so much variety!
What a fun 30 minute workout!!
Another great workout with awesome music, especially Tarzan Boy.
CDornerFitness you've made my year! Thank you for making step aerobics fun.
Thank YOU!
Love this! 128 BPM and basic to intermediate! The perfect tempo and level. Look forward to more. Thanks Chris!
Enjoyed this step routine. Working my way up to intermediate is a personal accomplishment. The tutorials are a great help!! Thank you!!😊
A fun workout with great music. The slightly slower pace really let me focus on my form.
128 BPM allows you to really get deep in the moves- big knees/kicks- low squats and add spirit hands! Nice change of pace for a sweaty 30 minute workout. Thanks Chris! ❤😊
Fast, fun and fantastic!! What a great way to finish 2023. Loved the music and as always, your enthusiasm!! Thank you!!
Happy new year!
So fun! Appreciate these shorter ones when I know I have a full, active day ahead but want to kickstart it the right way. Thanks!
You’re right, a few weeks ago I could not get the tic-toc move. Today it clicked! Thanks for always doing a demo of the move!!
I absolute love everything you do!! Thank you!
Love this slower workout. Since it was only 30 minutes (I have day off today and had extra time) I did rewind but couldn't find the markers on my TV. But saw them on my computer when checked. Have a healthy 2024 and keep those workouts coming.
So glad you enjoyed it.. Hmmm, that is strange the markers were not on the TV
Such a great short step workout. Got me sweating today 28.12.2023. Thank you Chris

I did this one this morning . Fun routine! Loved the choreography. And I’ve done a lot of step but don’t think I’ve ever done the pony. Loved it!
Great music, great choreography. The slower pace allows for greater range of movement and that REALLY keeps the heart rate up; I rewound the full cardio section just because it was so fun. Thanks Chris for all you do for your community.

I’m starting slow getting back into step-this worked! Good speed!
Feels great!!
Thanks Chris!
Another great playlist!
Loved the 80’s music and the choreography! Really fast fun sweaty step class! Thanks Chris!❤️💪🏻
the weights lesson is so true i weigh as much as i ever did but have been dedicated to strength training for 5 years strong i have maintained a smaller size since starting that journey and look better than i did when i actually weighed less!
This was fun step class. Love the 80s.
Thanks so much!!!
Chris, YOU are my motivation! Thank you for the awesome workouts!
Loved this! It was my first intermediate to advanced step. A lot of fun!
Great music - still finding my way with the over the step thing but just do the basic if I can't do the move. Thank you, loved it! ❤🤟
The choreography was great and I enjoyed the music. I’m so happy to be feeling better and back to working out again. Thank you Chris!
step is usually not my things. I do like to do it when you have 30 minute step workouts. Loved this workout. It was fun and motivating, with awesome music.
Glad to be back doing step again. Missed it.
Super fun choreo and great playlist! Love all of your verbal cues, you're the best at what you do, thank you!
Loved this one! Sometimes for me it's the slower paces that really get me going. Have a happy new year ❤
This was my first step class.. instead of a step I used a towel instead. It was so much fun and challenging. I'm definitely going to do this particular one again.
YAY!! I am so glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks so much or joining me!!
This was fun and sweaty even though I usually do advanced step. But it was just right for me this morning.
Thanks!!❤❤❤
❤! I added a second riser & had FUN!! TY!
What a great way to end the year!! See you in 2024!!
I love your choreography and positive commentary. Great music too! Thank you!
This was a perfect Re-entry workout after the holidays!
This was a fun one of a good length and I combined it with a lower body /core workout today. Thx for having so much variety.
Just what I needed to ease myself back in after being away!! Love your trainers, I need them ❤
This was fun! Thanks for helping me get my active zone minutes every day!
I haven’t worked out in months. First time back and this was sooooooo much fun!!! LOVED IT!!!
It amazes me how you can always mix up the choreography. I don't think I've ever done a pony while stepping before. I loved the tap over too.
Thank you so much Alison!
Another fun, never boring step workout! Thanks❤️
Had to jump back into the routine with this one. Perfect amount of time and bpm. And you can never go wrong with 80s tunes! Happy New Year! Looking forward to a great year with cdorner fitness 🎉
I had so much fun doing this one! Saved as a fav to do multiple times!!
Thanks, Chris. Your energy and enthusiasm are so infectious. I will be energized and smiling for the rest of the day 😊
You are so welcome
Thank you for marking where the full choreo is! I love to go back and do it again but bigger as I fully know the moves 😄
YAY!! Thank so much!
I didn’t know if I would like the slower pace but it was great and the music was good also! Thank you for another great workout and your helpful info at the end.
Thank you Chris, another sweaty session which surprised me at a 128bpm.
Fantastic!
First step class with my riser! It was the perfect pace and choreo for it!
Thank you Christina! Brilliant! x
Another excellent workout! Thank you! ❤️
Trying to get back into the swing of things and this was absolutely perfect! I truly have so much doing your workouts. You make the time fly!
YAY!!! Thank you so so much!
I loved the playlist on this one!🎉

OOOOH I love that cue!! Yes!!! you should be light on. your feet!! I may have to use that!!!! Thank you so so much for working out with me!!
This was my opportunity to add a riser for a bit more challenge. It was hard! (I'm really short.) I can't wait to do it again. Thanks, Chris!
I used to hate inner thighs and would modify with knees, but it dawned on me during this workout that I actually look forward to them now. Thanks for always pushing us to do the things we don't like:)

Great music, fun step workout!!! Moving your body can be so much fun!
It really is! Thanks Nicole!
Thank you for another great workout!
woohoo! guess who finally got a step?!! Gonna take a few sessions to figure out the choreography- had a confused expression most of the class but didn't fall down and loved it!
YAY!!!!!!! That confused expression is totally normal LOL!! I am sure you did great!!
❤❤❤🎉 another great quickie. Proof, however much you have to do, there’s always time for fitness! ❤
I used my higher riser! What a great workout! Thank you! Obscure songs...sounded like a playlist I once had! I call the last block the Full Chriseo!!
So much fun. I love the Elvis step❤
Music was bomb! Im a seasoned stepper and I Sped it up to 1.25 and it was a sweatfest!
My favorite step workout so far!
