I'm the one learning all the bells and whistles on the truck so thanks for sharing these tips about the navigation and buttons. It has really helped and I'm learning so much! I have a black 2008 convertible Mustang I bought it brand new back then. But this truck has stolen my heart!
I came across this looking at transfer cases that I have to replace my 1997 single cab. A newer one would be nice but can't part with this old truck. Had it since 1998.
2:28 no need to activate and deactive to get to normal cruise. Just press and hold for like 3 seconds and it will do it. This works for any toyta product with Adaptive cruise control, atleast 2020 and newer
I just accidently found out my 2020 Taco TRD Sport stock radio plays videos... I downloaded a movie, MP4 to my USB, and in the menu, browse and videos and it automatically found the videos. Although you cant play them while driving. But now I can watch a movie while the wife is inside the store shopping.

I may have missed this earlier, and if so, apologies....but have you demonstrated how to upload a picture or image to the console so that it will appear when the car is turned on and shut off? It's pretty cool.
As for as i know about that, 2020 and newer, you can't do it. only the previous 3rd gens you would be able to. I have a 2020, and im tired of the warning every single time I turn my truck on.

The one thing that annoyed me the most about my 2023 Tacoma is the steering wheel Volume and "next track" buttons.. its completely backwards. Toyota has it set to Volume up / down is Left and Right, Next Track is Up / Down... Wouldn't you want Volume Up/Down and Next Track Left/ Right? Why on earth is that backwards...
@@CarlosTacoBeast had a 2020 corolla and the shortest setting was still pretty far away. My 23 taco on the same setting is kissing the bumper if I set it to 1. legitimate 1 cars length. 2 is the sweet spot for my 23 taco
Clearly none of you have driven an old school VW Bug for any length of time. You learn to follow with a bunch of space between you and the car in front of you. Never know when that brake pedal is gonna decide to do nothing just for funsies.
ANYONE POSTING ON 3rd GEN TACOMA'S. Please show the year model in your title. Not all 3rd Gen's have the same features. It's frustrating clicking on 10 different "Tacoma Hidden Features" video's to find out it doesn't apply to my 2017.
@@johnb1658 It sets them to 'learn mode', which you drive on so that the sensors can reset. Really wanna use it if the tires are rotated at a shop (or by yourself), or when you change the PSI so that the system isn't catty wampus.
IS their a way to turn off the trucks Radar Cruise Control feature and make the Default setting OFF... I hate that Feature ....... It almost caused an accident when the auto Breaking kicked in and caused me to skid because some idiot cut me off trying to make an EXIST on the Highway... I've been driving for 50 yrs and have NEVER had an accident....... Thats because I am the one in control of my CAR... I dont need this baby sitting feature put in place in MY TRUCK JUST to play kiss ass to some INS Lobbiest who has forced consumers to do what THEY think make us safe .....

The tpms button has nothing to do with setting the pressure, it has to do with reseting the sensors themselves. Most Toyota vehicles have that button.
The TPMS sensors are trash....
