is it possible to tear it apart and gently separate the magnets realign it and poxy glue it together with a new coil and cone
I have a 12" MTX ThunderPro that seems to be stuck (frozen) as well. There is a crack all arpu d the magnet. Is the crack normal, and if not, is this woofer finished?
Probably need a new sub, unfortunately.

It sounds like the magnet slug is cracked, if it were me i would tear it up and see if the motor shifted. Sorry for your loss lol
If there are two slugs the line may be the seam where they join, if that is the case is one of them offset a bit?
