    Thanks so much for these videos! Please keep posting! You guys do an outstanding job explaining things, the quality of the video and audio is bang on! I and very encouraged to try to make one of these Garden Rooms some day (if I ever own a garden) but for now watching and learning is enough.

    Guys where do you buy your Cedar and what would it cost to do something this size?

    hi - great video - what size battons are these?

    How do you connect the box profile sheets to where it meets the cladding so make water proof? Thanks and nice setup

    Great video again! If you were fitting horizontal cladding would you only need single vertical battons?

    • @creategardenrooms
      @creategardenrooms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah for sure but it’s nice to get a bit of airflow behind the Cedar or whatever cladding you fit on. Also allows air movement behind the cladding for walls ect. Just a better way of doing it to ensure longevity of the building. It also helps with the concrete base, if there are any parts that have bellied out the cladding can now fly pass it without having to trim it down 👍

    See if you want to change the cladding of the existing garden room to a different type, is that relatively easy procedure ?

    What’s the minimum you guys can or would leave between a boundary fence/wall?

  • @steveparrish3725
    @steveparrish3725 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    As its over 15m2 and with in a meter of the boundaries the boundary walls need to be made from non combustable materials.. i was told by building control that the steel sheeting isn’t sufficient?

    • @creategardenrooms
      @creategardenrooms  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd be very interested to see who told you that!

    • @steveparrish3725
      @steveparrish3725 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@creategardenrooms it was east cambridge district council building control, said the external osb needs to be replaced with a1 rated cement board then cladded with a minimum of a2 rated cladding on top of that to meet the non combustable regs

    What would something this size cost me as a customer guys....I like your work and I like the fact you use a concrete base.

      Thanks Gary. Our prices are £1600 inc Vat per sqM plus whatever doors and windows you choose 👍

      Am I right in thinking for a 3x4m would be £18200 plus windows and doors

    • @davidbrock9155
      @davidbrock9155 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shit £19200 plus day another 2 for doors and windows that’s £21000, holy shit I’m in the wrong game, I don’t know anything about prices but I’m assuming you could but materials for £10000 at the max, that’s a hefty profit for 2 guys, we’ll done boss

    • @TheNorthernmunky

      You get what you pay for David, if you want it to look like a shed, pay less, but if you want an outside space built to full regs and that lasts you 20+ years, then £20-25k is about what these pods go for.

      @@davidbrock9155 I wish I could built it for £10,000 David!!! I think everyone would be doing them them haha. They cost quite a bit more and then there’s advertising and all the costs that come with running a business, then there’s working till 8-9pm every night trying to build the business, marketing strategy’s, advertising costs (which are a bloody lot of money) not as easy as it seems bud 👍
