Awesome set up! Sounds great! I have a 110 twincam in a Softail and im setting up my cam / supplementary parts got the woods 777s but was wondering if i should return them and go for the 999-6a, ill be doing head porting, intake, exhaust, lifters etc but stock compression. Checking to see your opinion.
coolgeek08 immediately! I’m at over 100lbs of torque, at 2200rpm’s 115lbs. at 2500. Torque peaks at 3700 rpm’s with just over 130. And at the 5,250rpm crossover, both the hp and tq are at 117. HP carries out to 6,200 rpm’s at about 115HP
coolgeek08 if you have a 96”-103” with no other engine mod’s, there are 4 really good cams: Andrews tc-48’s, Woods 222’s, S&S, mr103’s and Cyclerama 570-2’s. But, it’s just as important to have a good exhaust, with a baffle that’s NO MORE than 2.25” wide, if running a 2-1-2 set up. If running a 2-1, 2.5”. I have other videos when I was running Woods 222’s with Rineharts and another with my Fat Cat. Notice how quiet the valve train is with the Fat Cat
How are the cylinders holding up? Plan to drop a new top end into mine soon and would really like to know how the 110 spigot has been holding up by guys who live with it
I believe it’s set right around 900. But, ideally, the most stable engine speed, at idle, is 896. The Pro Pipe sounds phenomenal, but, is very different than the Fat Cat.
Very very nice what size throttle body and injectors. Pretty bike all my harleys over the last 35 years have been black. First white bike I've seen that looks bad ass. Nice ride
Man! Thank you! The throttle body is a stock ported 50mm. The injectors, at the time, were stock 4.3gps. I’ve since upgraded them to Feuling 5.3’s. I’ve also done a host of other stuff to it, such as a Darkhorse Man-O-War crank, a Zipper’s cam plate and Feuling oil pump. I haven’t had it re-dyno’d yet, but, I definitely feel a big increase in power. Roll-on 1st. gear take off’s, burn completely through the gear, and into second. Without popping the clutch. Speaking of which, I’ve also upgraded to an extra plate Kevlar clutch. Launch is violent now! I really have to hold on. Thanks again
@@BafflingBS Im planning to do a similar build this winter. I was concerned with going with a 58mm t.b. I dont want to lose velocity, and screw up my throttle response. Thanks for the info it helps alot
@@blades2255 I was told that I didn’t need it at the time, but was later told that it would in fact help with peak numbers. I’m not as concerned with that as much as torque in the lower rpm range.
That is a sharp looking and sounding bike. I'm putting 107 FM kit in my 2011 wide glide with the same woods 999-6a cams with bx head's. My question is why does wood's say stock heads when FM told me to go with that cam. Am I going to run into much trouble? Thank you for the input.
What they probably meant was, stay with the 85cc heads. You definitely want about 10.5/1 compression. If you use, say 89cc heads, like S&S, you’ll increase the size of the combustion chamber. That would kill your compression. The FM heads, have better flow, by reshaping and enlarging the intake and exhaust ports. Level “B” heads, would be perfect for that build
Thank you very much for the feedback it is greatly appreciated and make's sense now! The BX heads are FM newest "B" series head's and now I can't wait till my bike is done by this weekend. Thank you again.
Yes, it’s a 2-1 with a Ghost pipe. I’d love to see your dyno, with the 58mm and 5.3gps injectors. I’ve since added Feuling 5.3 injectors as well as rebuilding my bottom end. I’ve been toying with the idea of a 55mm HPI, but, I’m afraid of losing my low end torque
I had nothing but problems with my powervision I used it 3 times then it would not power up when plugged in either to bike or computer. I contacted powervisiin an fuel Moto an that didn't want to know about it. I tell ya if I lived in the states I would of driven down there an stuffed it down one of there throats . Iv si ce found out this is common for them .
@@diesel5460 my first question to you would be, did you buy the Power Vision from Fuel Moto? Because they’re renowned for their customer service. My second question is, did you come to my channel to rant about Fuel Moto? Because I have a Thundermax, not a Power Vision
@@dowser1987 I haven’t had it redynoed, though, it feels like it has more power. But, there were other improvements made that can account for some of that. Lifters are locked in better (less spinning), better oil pump (less sumping, and friction) better compensator (more direct torque) etc. I have a TMax, and the injectors were updated. While he was making adjustments, he also corrected the AFR, from 14;1 down to around 13:1. Definitely runs cooler
Brent definitely more now, with the 999-6a’s, than with the 222’s. But, it’s got more compression, and a higher lift. That being said, I agree with you.

I just posted a new video, taken after a major overhaul of the bottom end, cam plate, oil pump, piston oilers, crank and Timken conversion. Check it out. Tell me what you think. Your comment earlier about this video, really hit home. FYI, I changed my air filter to an open design, so the majority of the noise, is from that. Also, this video here, was filmed OUTSIDE. The new one is inside. So noise will be more pronounced. Thanks
Nice lope and sound. It’s nice to see a clean bike. So many people don’t clean their bike. IDK.
Thank you, Steve
Beautiful bike! Great growl!

What baffle?
@@dowser1987 sorry Dow, I just saw this, unfortunately. It has the wrapped perforated baffle

I did the 777’s in my 103. Full exhaust. Arlen Ness, big air sucker. And Doyno jet tuner. Love it. .
With those cams when fries the power kick in
I meat when does the power kick in vs the other cams you had.

Wow. Thank you for the reply. I’m looking for cam for my bike.
coolgeek08 just be mindful, I have a 110 with 10.5/1 compression. I’m not sure I’d recommend this cam to someone who has an otherwise stock bike
