All new vehicles since 72 were built to EPA specs, my 2019 started off as EPA specs, but when the valve spring broke and the warranty now over, I just rebuilt it with the S&S 132.
The 99 softball Evo definitely has that classic Harley charm! It’s amazing how some bikes just have that unmistakable sound and feel. Keep enjoying the ride!
The eye candy look hasn’t kept up with many manufacturers with motorcycle technology from bikes of the past ! That’s my observation at 73 as an avid motorcyclist , since retired !
Street Glide by far the best ride , on the road the fairing realy cuts through the wind takes the wind pounding off the rider . I had a 2006 FLHTCU years ago i loved that bike ❤

I'm perfectly happy with my gorgeous Hot Citrus 2012 CVO Street Glide. I have it set up just like I want with a color-matched detachable Tour Pak, numerous engine improvements with Feuling internal components and Zipper's RS587 cams, Cobra PowerPort headers and 4" Rineharts, Traxxion Dynamics front forks, nice Corbin seat with matching orange flames, etc. I'll probably never buy another bike.
It's awesome to hear how much you love your Street Glide! It sounds like you've put a lot of thought and effort into customizing it perfectly for your style. Enjoy the ride!
I love the Baby Blue Fatboy but the street and road glide bodies look horrible. Those gas tanks are hideous. Time for an American to run Harley again. I know the Europeans make good equipment but Harley is different vibe. Need someone who thinks like us . They look like plastic toys now. Harley is regressing not moving forward.🤦🏼♂️

Don't bye Harley & Davidson, company go wrong that will go out of business and we all owners will pay for it. Breakout, Fat Bob & Boy, beautiful looking bikes with a bad company support, like all others. Panamerica, mistake trying to compete in a market that has 20 years of advantage on technology and marketing, struggling effort that will bring them down. Don't bye, bad investment in the bike and company.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It sounds like you’re really passionate about the experience of riding and the adventure it brings. Keep enjoying those amazing skies!

I will never buy a Harley Davidson, because I already own the best motorcycle on the planet, the 2024 Honda gold wing, it has the best engineering that money can buy, something Harley Davidson knows nothing about, I don't consider a Harley Davidson a real motorcycle only a real pile of junk.
@DonaldT-s5f It's great to hear your passion for the Honda Gold Wing! Every rider has their preferences, and it sounds like you've found the perfect match for you.
Bring back the Sportster. And make it lighter, smaller displacement. Easy to own and ride, "IE" an "Affordable," usefull/fun motorcycle. 750cc, or less assuming it will go 100mph+ here in the United States. By the way, my 1981 (AMF) FXE Super Glide that I bought brand new was excellent. "Shovelhead" engines were good, but old. Evolution engines were great. This new Sportster thing" is "zero". Heavy, and over priced; what is HD doing? They stopped manufacturing the 500/750 "Sport bikes"? Remember AMF saved Harley Davidson the first time. No Ron Reagan around to save it now. This company is turning it's back on the new riders and will ultimately turn into a "brand name" consisting of of T-shirts & tattoos... No bikes sold, no H.D... What?.. Small to middle weight motorcycles that riders can afford are "bread & butter" for any motorcycle company. More sales and good people. Brand loyal, and they'll stay with it "son".. No one goes to the a dealership to buy the most Expensive niche oriented plaything, They come in to buy something to ride & enjoy every day. HD and the people that love them have to get a handle on their future market. No new riders, no sales, no Harley Davidson. I, for one, will miss HD, Get with the program folks. Thanks for sharing. J. You make some excellent points! A lighter, more accessible Sportster would definitely resonate with new riders. It's all about finding that balance between heritage and innovation.

Agreed. I've got Fat Boy anniversary edition, one of last Harleys ever build. By the wat, I don't think that Twin Cam is worst than Evo.

Thanks for sharing your passion for the Street Glide! It’s always great to see fellow riders committed to their machines.
The CEO was put there to take down HD.
Think of him as a plant.........a cancer.

I will never buy Harley again, I bought a 23 street glide standard
And one year later sold it and lost $12,000 good thing it was paid for.
It’s tough to take a hit like that, but I hope your next ride brings you more joy and value. What are you considering for your next bike?

No...but it sure looks great on my 2001 FXDWG2 CVO. One of the most attractive bikes Harley ever built.

Nice to meet a fellow Softail Evo enthusiast! The 1988 model has such a classic vibe. How do you like riding it?
So, basically the Street Glide is the exact same as the 2024 model too include recalls
Ok. Got it
It seems like a lot of similarities, doesn’t it? Focus on spec.
The '24 Streer Glide and Road Glide have the all new 117. Why would they go back to 114 in 25?
This video is bogus. These don't even look like American bikes
