Interesting I didn’t know Fuel Moto 🍀 did crate engines. I have dealt with them before for parts for my 2016 Ultra Limited 103 HO. Bought the bike new. Bike runs good Fuel Moto 🍀 put the map in the ECM for me I would like to put different cams in it and cam plate and compensator. Short on money though especially sense I retired 10 years ago. You mention St.Louis heck that close to me I’am across the river and south in Columbia, Illinois. Do you ever go over to Alton, Illinois. Hope to see ya around! What did you do with your old engine?
@alanwhiteside410 I installed my old 103 in my buddies bike. he had a 96 with small cams and wanted more power. yes actually a group of us rode to Alton earlier this year and went to eat at fast Eddie's. if you ever see me out and about make sure to come and say hi. oh and one last thing. before doing an aftermarket cam plate make sure and check your crank runout. if it has excessive runout your better off to stick with stock plate. that's what I had to do with my old 103
@@joeronomo Thanks for the fast response. A lot of times we ride the Bluff road from Columbia way down to Modoc. Appreciate your video, I do have a question for you though on those shark roads I have a 103 ultra 2012 and I bought those they sounded great they had that really great throaty sound I was looking for. That was for about the first 2000 miles and then all of a sudden it started to be tingy sound, but couldn’t stand it so I went with a set of Vance and Hines 450s and I’m completely happy. It’s a shame too because the ones I bought really didn’t last me as long as I was expecting and I don’t know if that’s something standard with those, so if you do get back in touch with me, that would be great if not I understand
@ChrisLauter-e4k mine was a 2 into 1 full system. never changed sound. had about 15k on them. I absolutely loved the sound. it just wouldn't supply the 124 with what it needed unfortunately
@paulmclean4257 34,000 on the original. it still ran great i just wanted more power. yes its gear driven cams, they dont even give you an option for chain driven.
this was an entire crate engine not just an engine kit. right now with the dunlop elite 3 it just blows the tire off 1st threw 3rd. im sure you could power up the front end without the clutch if i had a stickier tire on it. yea i have some videos up of me running against some other bikes.
@clintkautzer5757 yea i have dyno sheets to prove it. I could always change cams for more power and even have the cams sitting on the shelf BUT I don't want to give up the amazing street and two-up manners

@racex3721 i would never go to a harley shop for performance. they are lost when it comes to power.. look up shop67, a1, zippers, fuelmoto, gmr, hillside cycle.. all of those places can make you really good power. you shpuld be in the mid 120's lower 130's with a 110 setup.. theres a youtube video of a zippers 110 making 150hp actually lol

I find it odd that Harley owners are willing to mortgage a house to find speed and horsepower that comes stock on literally every other brand. They're also the only owners who constantly quote torque numbers. Torque is important if you're pulling a stump out of the ground, not so much if you're trying to get a bike to go faster than 80 mph.
Morgage a house? Lol, how poor are you? Ss 124 hot setup is $6500, a ss143 crate motor is only 12k. 131 and 162 hp respectively. No other "stock bike" is touching that
