So happy you loved Piranesi, and are enjoying The Tenant of Wildfell Hall! Those were two of my favs from 2022.
My fav version of My Mother told me" in english is by Alina Gingertail, my fav version in old norse is by SKÁLD (translation for english speakers it's called "Þat Mælti Min Móđir") my fav SKÁLD song is "Ljósálfur" (Light Elf)
If anyone is interested in trying out the old sagas I rec trying "The Saga of the Volsungs" translated by Jackson Crawford, they are some of the most entertaining sagas and the translation is fantastic!
Since you liked Piranesi I rec the movie novelization of "Pan's Labyrinth" by Guillermo Del Toro

I skipped everything about Piranesi as I haven’t started that yet, but I will try to remember to come back to that later! 😅 I think you enjoyed it so that’s good! And I’m happy the other books were pleasant surprises as well!
