- In this quick video I show you how to fill out the E-Ticket needed to enter the Dominican Republic. So if you are planning a vacation to Punta Cana this is one of the entry requirements for the Dominican Republic. You can fill this out on your computer or your mobile device. It only takes a few minutes but it is required by your airline to fill it out before getting your boarding pass. They don't always ask for it when you arrive but have the QR code that they give you after filling out the E-Ticket handy in case that they do! #puntacana #traveltips

When you did the e-ticket did you put the flight you start from or do you put the connecting flight where you go to The DR?

Thanks for the guidance. The e-ticket is ridiculously buggy. Grayed out pull downs, unrecognized cities, etc. Sounds like countless people have encountered similar issues, across multiple devices and browsers, with no apparent rhyme or reason . . .
Thanks for another great video filled with useful information. We're going to Punta Canada in April. Since we watched your video on using a carry on vs checked luggage our family has decided to use carry ons to save time. My question would be where is the best place to buy items like sunscreen so we don't have to pay an arm and a leg at the resort? As we will not be able to pack the traditional large spray on bottles of sunscreen...
You can get it at the airport. It’s still expensive but not as expensive as the resort. Or you could set up something with your transportation company to stop somewhere and buy it but you usually have to pay extra to stop. So I would just get it at the airport.

Dreams Onyx is fabulous! The "waterpark" / family pool / lazy river area is amazing. You can hardly see the waterslides in all the vegetation and there's a swim up bar and stage so you can watch the show from the pool! You'll love it

Thanks for the detailed info, it’s very helpful. After completing the eTicket application, I clicked the email button and it gave me an error message and I never received an email and didn’t save the code. I contacted several agencies in the DR to see if they could look up my code without any luck. Do you think I should just start over with a new application?
Yes just do it again! I had to do mine over again

Maybe choose one of the other options that would allow you to manually write it? No one actually checked it when we arrived it’s more for the airlines

the website won't let me past the main passenger info, AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED WHILE SENDING THE FORM, PLEASE FILL OUT ALL REQUIRED FIELDS. I can't find what isn't filled out. I even tried to log out and back in with my code. It says the application code isn't valid

How to determine embarkation port and disembarkation port?

I just completed my first eticket. It was a little bit of a pain, but luckily, I have a network of friends who helped me.
Embarkation -- where you are boarding the plane or your point of origin. For example, if you are flying in from Newark, NJ, you would enter the airport code, which is EWR.
Disembarkation -- the airport where you are traveling to or your destination. For example, if you are flying to Santiago, Dominican Republic, you'd enter airport code STI.
In the "General Information" section of the eticket, if for some reason, you can't enter your city of residence, then enter the nearest large city. For example: if you reside in Elkins Park, PA but the site won't allow you to enter Elkins Park, then enter Philadelphia instead.

Please define exactly the Embarkation and Disembarkation flight code. Is that the connecting or layover flight before you get into PUJ??
So that’s the flight that takes you into PUJ and the Flight number of the one that takes you out

Usually it asks you for the individual names. So everyone has to have one but you can fill them out for each person in one application

What do you do if you do not have a mobile phone?
You can do it n a computer and then print out the Qr Code and bring it to the check in desk for the airline.
