DR 🇩🇴, love my country. You can definitely get a full experience of the country, however, I do recommend someone from over there that you're friends with? To guide you and be with you to actually have a sense of security. Good communication goes along the way wherever you go. Subscribed yesterday to your channel and just watched like 8 videos already! Very informative, well detailed, fun and addictive! Love it! Keep em coming! We’ll be visiting Punta Cana in a few months, just wondering if you would recommend Barcelo Bavaro?
Hi again. I enjoyed this video. I'm building a house in Vista Cana, in Punta Cana, and I will move there in August. I would love for you to do a conversational Spanish video when you have time. Keep in touch, and we can take my yacht out to Saona when you come back.
We typically go to Cancun, but are seriously considering visiting Punta Cana next. Could you tell us any differences we should expect between Cancun and Punta Cana?
I’m actually going to do a video on this! Main differences would be. The airport at PC isn’t as up to date as Cancun and takes a little longer to get through when you arrive. Also the Dominican people are very laid back so service is slower. Depending on which resort the food tends to be better in Mexico. But we love both! I love the island vibe in PC. You should try it at least once!!!
I also love the island vibe in the DR and the beaches are better in my opinion with the beautiful tall Royal and Coconut palm trees versus the Riviera Maya area. Overall the beaches are better in my opinion especially in the PC and Samana areas. There are certain beaches on the Mayan Coast that might rival but not many. i.e. Maroma, Xpu-ha, Akumal, Isla. I am gonna to Mayan Riviera in few weeks to dive in Akumal so I do love both areas. I would say the water mostly is more turquoise in PC area especially when no Sargasso. If you enjoy the Cancun and haven’t been then you will definitely enjoy PC DR for sure. More Island vibe starting at airport. 🌴
Well my honest opinion in PC the people are more courteous and friendly compare to Cancun;People were very dry and cold. But we’ll still give them another chance on another resort.
Great video. First time Caribbean traveler (and solo). What are your recommendations re foods rinsed in water (salads, etc.)? Are they safe in an all-inclusive resort? Thank you!
I’ve never had an issue. I know some people have. I’m not sure what they rinse the salads in. I never think about any of that lol. I just go and have fun

maybe a stupid question but if you only have a carry on suitcase you cant have a small banana dag with it right? its my first time alone at the airport im so confused 🤣
Hi! That’s not a stupid question! It depends on the airline! Some let you have a carry on and a small personal item! But you can definitely have it in the airport! What airline are you flying?
Using just a carry-on to save time is only practical if you aren't going to a agency booked all-inclusive because no matter what your bus from the airport won't leave until everyone is on the bus, so you have to wait anyway.
@@3Days3NochesI was just pointing it out for us poor, humble peasants who DO book all-inclusives with transportation included. I didn't realize you made this video only for people who travel the exact same princess way as you. 🤣
Hello, If we’re booking a shuttle to pick us from the airport. Should I put a different time for pick up since we have to go through customs first after landing? Or how does that work? I will be in DR in May, so I’m trying to plan ahead. Thanks in advance.
Love your video, traveling to the DR in 2 weeks...interested in venturing of the reaort to do some sight seeing. Any other recommendations of places to visit and reputable agencies to use?
Thank you for the quick response,we'll be there for 7 days....other recommendations in addition to Saona. Traveling with an 11 y/o. I really want to see the inner city also. And i guess my biggest thing is using a reputable company, but I also don't want to be taken advantage of $ wise.
Looking to go to Punta Cana but all the resorts I look at have a dress code for restaurants. Is there any recommendations on an all-inclusive resort that is pretty laid back ?
Traveling with my 80 year old mother. Wanted to go in May now concerned about the seaweed. Any other recommendations other than Punta Cana, if not any hotel suggestions for us. She’s not an “active” 80 year old
Can you do a car rental for a day to explore the island? We’ve never done an all inclusive. We typically rent a car from teh airport for our stays. But didnt figure that would be necessary at a resort. But would still love to travel around the island for sightseeing and such.
How was the sargassum sea weed ??? ...I heard it was a nightmare for Punta Cana ...you were just there ? can you tell me if it was bad or it was cleaned up or ...?? thanks !
I think it depends! We stayed at Sanctuary Cap Cana that has a very small beach and they have barriers so they are able to control it somewhat. But summers are bad in both Punta Cana and Cancun

We are going to the DR in July for our anniversary, and will be checking a bag, for various reasons. We have private transportation reserved. Is there any problem with going thru immigration first, then retrieving our bag and meeting our transfer company? Or are we required to get the bag first? Thanks in advance! Love your videos!

I've never been to Punta Cana, we want to visit the first week of August, possibly, the 1st-7th of August; however, I am on the fence because of hurricane and thunderstorm/rainy season. Can you please let me know if you've ever personally experienced heavy thunderstorm and hurricane in your travels to Punta Cana, and should I just go for it or just don't visit in August.
Hi! I’ve been in August and it wasn’t too bad. But it’s so hard to predict! I feel Like there’s a little rain almost every day. Sometimes at night and early morning.
I def saw people waiting with wheel chairs when I deplaned so disabilities I’m assuming yes. Children. I do t know but they have the VIp that you can pay extra for

Which I would never do lol! I don’t like the shared transportation
@@3Days3NochesI was just pointing it out for us poor, humble peasants who DO book all-inclusives with transportation included. I didn't realize you made this video only for people who travel the exact same princess way as you. 🤣
😅😅😅😅😅 touché lol!!!! I’m telling you it’s worth paying for private though. I save extra money on the side just to do it
Would be interested in the Spanish for Dominican vacation. Thanks.
I did it!!! Woo hoo don’t make fun of it though lol. th-cam.com/play/PLtrRYnAI0ncpe5kQ6-hsYqLDkOTSmfOWE.html
Hello,
If we’re booking a shuttle to pick us from the airport. Should I put a different time for pick up since we have to go through customs first after landing? Or how does that work? I will be in DR in May, so I’m trying to plan ahead. Thanks in advance.
Usually the service will factor that in for you. They will ask for your flight info etc
@@3Days3Noches thank you. That make me feel a whole lot better.
Love your video, traveling to the DR in 2 weeks...interested in venturing of the reaort to do some sight seeing. Any other recommendations of places to visit and reputable agencies to use?
Thank you so much!! Yes we use Viator.com and Diamond transfers. Saona island is a must! And depending on how much time you have you could explore DR
Here’s our partner link with Viator

You can email us at 3days3noches@gmail.com to connect you with Diamond Tours
Thank you for the quick response,we'll be there for 7 days....other recommendations in addition to Saona. Traveling with an 11 y/o. I really want to see the inner city also.
And i guess my biggest thing is using a reputable company, but I also don't want to be taken advantage of $ wise.
Looking to go to Punta Cana but all the resorts I look at have a dress code for restaurants. Is there any recommendations on an all-inclusive resort that is pretty laid back ?
Did you look at Margaritaville or Breathless. Those are more laid back usually
Traveling with my 80 year old mother. Wanted to go in May now concerned about the seaweed. Any other recommendations other than Punta Cana, if not any hotel suggestions for us. She’s not an “active” 80 year old
do they have wheel chairs at the airport?
Yes but you need to arrange ahead of time!
Trying to decide between grand Bávaro Princess or paradisus grand Cana with a family of 4 age 14 and 9 , looking for something not too ghetto thank u
Haven’t been to either! But join our FB group and ask!!
What’s your recommendation for an all inclusive family friendly resort in Punta Cana something that has kids activities.
Hard Rock is always a great choice but maybe look into Finest? Haven’t been there but I liked the Excellence culture and it’s in the same brand.
Hi,i will travel at first week of the June, please tell me hotel name witch you stay, thank you for answer❤
I’ve stayed in a few. Majestic Mirage and Excellence are goid
@@3Days3Noches thank you 😊 🙏
Can you smoke the marijane at the resort without issues? Serious question thank you
I smell it a lot but don’t do it myself so not sure!
Can you do a car rental for a day to explore the island? We’ve never done an all inclusive. We typically rent a car from teh airport for our stays. But didnt figure that would be necessary at a resort. But would still love to travel around the island for sightseeing and such.
Yes you can!!!! The drivers in DR are insane though FYI 🤣
I love, love, love your video, Oh by the way what was the name of the resort you guys stayed at? Thank in advance, may God bless you guys.
Awww thank you so much!! We stayed at Sanctuary Cap Cana this visit. We’ve stayed in Majestic previously and Royalton.
@@3Days3Noches Thank you guys, God bless.
🌞🌞
If you don’t have a checked bag how do you bring enough sunscreen?
You buy it there overpriced but it’s worth every penny
Or bring trial sizes
How busy is punta cana in the middle of march? A bit worried hotel may be a bit over crowded with spring breakers
It will def be crowded!! It’s the start of busy season
Are they able to fill your personal yeti, tumbler, etc. with drinks?
You can pack an empty one and use it at the all inclusive!
Where can you find a few shells. I heard there was none.
Love your videos😊
Ty!!!
We didn’t find any!
Great video. Have you ever stayed at secrets punta Cana. Thanks
I have not but you should join our Facebook group and ask! m.facebook.com/groups/572572378298675/?ref=share&mibextid=SDPelY
Where is that punta Cana sign located
They are located in several different locations!
Been watching your videos I'm going this week for the first time😅 or maybe it's because your cute😂. But in all seriousness what is the best tour to take and company tour don't see a lot good reviews for Island visits or buggys TIA.
Ha ha we’ve been using this site and then loved it so much are now partners with them. They use different tour companies but you can read the reviews and they list the tour company in the description part. Thanks for watching!!! @@3Days3Noches Great thanks!
Awww thanks for watching. No actually you have to go through immigration first then get your bag. Happy Anniversary 🥳
What is the best excursions for kids?
That’s a tough one! Def something shorter! The one I took to el cielo was kid friendly and if you’re staying closer to Playa Del Carmen it’s a ferry ride over which they will like

Thanks so much for your video and information. I have a question about travel insurance. Do you recommend paying for insurance separately through the airline or is there a bundle option for resort and airfare?
Thanks for watching! I actually never purchase it but I think separately is better co stage. You should join our Facebook group and ask there!! facebook.com/groups/572572378298675/
Hi! Which resort would you stay in? I have an 18month old and 8year old! Thanks in advance!!!
I’ve stayed at Majestic and liked it a lot. Especially for the price point!! Also Royalton Bavaro Suites and Spa was small but nice and had waterpark
I’d like ve the beginner’s Spanish lesson! We recently bought a timeshare.
Awesome. Currently working on it!!
What drink is the one that you have here? 👉🏻 11:30
I have no idea what it’s called but he said it was special Dominican Rum drink. It was sweet! Kind of like Rum Punch but with a twist 🤤
@@3Days3Noches It looks very atractive, I’ll keep it in mind for when I’m there
I've never been to Punta Cana, we want to visit the first week of August, possibly, the 1st-7th of August; however, I am on the fence because of hurricane and thunderstorm/rainy season. Can you please let me know if you've ever personally experienced heavy thunderstorm and hurricane in your travels to Punta Cana, and should I just go for it or just don't visit in August.
Hi! I’ve been in August and it wasn’t too bad. But it’s so hard to predict! I feel
Like there’s a little rain almost every day. Sometimes at night and early morning.
@@3Days3Noches Thanks for your reply. 👍
Good luck!!
Another question, have you stayed at Majestic Colonial or Excellence?
We stayed at Majestic Mirage! We really liked it!!!
How do you bring sunscreen in a carry on? It’s more than 3 oz!
You bring a trial size or squeeze it into a travel size bottle :)
How much do you tip your transportation driver? Thank you!
15-20% of the cost of the ride
Eticket must be filled just right after purchasing the airplane ticket, 1 or 2 days before travel? Or when would be a good time to do it? Thanks!
You can do it as soon as you have all of the flight info
Does the punta Cana airport offer any services for children with disabilities?
I def saw people waiting with wheel chairs when I deplaned so disabilities I’m assuming yes. Children. I do t know but they have the VIp that you can pay extra for
Thank you so much for your rapid response 👏🏼
Midnight. Does my medicine have to be in their original container or can I use a daily divider?
i am deaf and i want to visit punta cana on my own. i want to know any travel agent you may have or if you have any suggestions. want to try and make it as easy as possible being deaf. i can also talk. But have no hearing.
Sure! Email us at 3days3noches@gmail.com
Should I go here alone or is it unsafe? I only ask because I don’t have anyone to go with but I really wanna go.
If you go to a resort and stay there it will be safe. I wouldn’t travel outside the resort alone.
hi great info ps i have been there 10 times occidental is our favorite place sorry am from canada
Nice!
Definitely interested in a video on Spanish
Do they have E gates ? Like cancun
They do have some but not a lot
YES to travel Spanish ... Please
