About the wedding photographer. It wasn't a professional, it was literally a friend they asked to do photos at the wedding who was a hobbyist photographer. They offered them like $75, which is nothing for that sort of work.
🚫
I was coming to comment this exact thing. They treated him like garbage and he’s justified in his actions, in my opinion.
Even if he was a professional thats still really shity, that guys totally justified
he wasn't "technically" a guest, he was straight up a guest doing dirt cheap work as a favor.
Thanks, I’m too lazy to type out the story
3:56 it makes sense when you realize that the photographer was a family friend they paid $250 to take wedding pictures and they denied him food, water and a 20 minute break so he deleted the pictures and left, he was not a professional photographer, he took pictures of his dogs
This makes is worse! I was going to say that most photographers have food and such in their contract, but wow this is so not it.
If he was a professional, they should have let him eat. The fact he was a *_friend_* makes it 100x worse. Let the man eat, ffs
@@owlcake exactly, if that's how they treat a friend imagine how they would treat an actual professional photographer
Wasnt 250 it's was only 75$ making it even more worse
Thanks, I’m too lazy to type out the story

I think the real reason people often see the girl in images like this is because of the lighting.
Your eyes are gonna be drawn to the brighter, more vibrant colors caused by the lighting, especially when the rest of the image is cool, duller colors. But, it depends on the person.
You're completely correct. She contrasts so heavily against the rest of her environment that your eyes will be naturally drawn there first.
Assuming that picture was taken by a professional photographer, that was likely done very intentionally.
Yeah, it's the lighting. I was not drawn to the butt, I was drawn towards her lower legs.
The first thing I saw was the dark haired dude in the middle because he looks like my uncle when he was in his 20s. He's long gone, but still wierd.
i sall her hair then the white walker i did not even realize that was a woman XD
I absolutely saw the bright orange hair first, then the dude in black, then the white walker. That's... How the human eye works, you're drawn to the brightest colour, then (typically) the darkest, then you see the rest. It's really stupid how people still think you're a pervert for... having eyes???
0:37 alcohol is illegal in Qatar's public venues if I recall.
It's more than saving $10,000,000 a beer, it's the fact those stadiums don't sell it in the 1st place.

0:55 fun fact: in the retro Hasbro rerelease, the cover is edited to remove not only the woman and girl, but also the entire kitchen, resulting in a weirdly long room with no windows.
I think I have the rerelease
the wedding photographer was working for free and was denied a moment to even sit down (they didn't even prepare a place for her). they also denied her from going to get food from somewhere else. p sure she was working for like six hours before she got fed up.
so, while this may be a *different* true story, that's not at all what happened in the original post. the dude was paid roughly 75 dollars(absolutely tiny for a wedding photographer), was denied food, water and a 20 minute break, and wasn't at all a professional photographer (he takes pictures of his dogs). He was a family friend. The entire wedding venue was 9 hours in the sun.
@@thegongoozler69 odd, that's almost exactly the article i read, only the pronouns used were she/her and she wasn't paid at all. specifically the dog photography thing.
I saw another comment saying he was payed $75, and another said he was payed $250
4:16 There are a lot of news stories where people, who weren't anonymous, would be harassed, stalked, and even killed over lottery wins, so yeah I wanna be anonymous if this ever happened to me. The only people who would know who exactly won the jackpot would be the IRS
The one thing I actually like about TX(other than food in SATX), is that they don't do that to lottery winners. It's anonymous by default.
Would give my parents the majority.
2:24 Narcolepsy Georg, who falls asleep in two seconds, was an outlier and should not have been counted.

That lifeguard at the Olympics has a crucial job: If an athlete has a cramp, he can drown. It may not happen often but it does happen.
I was thinking something similar. A medical emergency can hit, regardless of how skilled an athlete is.
15:46 My favourite part of this... _logic_ is that it only applies if you have had multiple partners. Same amount of sex with one guy doesn't "use you up", apparently.
Probably not good if you're bringing it to work.

1:57 This actually happened. The United Fruit Company, now known as Chiquita, collaborated with the CIA for Operation PBSuccess, which resulted in the overthrow of Guatemala’s democracy.
I'm pretty sure the reason the olympics have a life guard is in case someone passes out from overexertion
If someone has a medical emergency in the water, they'll be glad the lifeguard is there.
Also I microwave water for my tea every day because it takes two minutes and doesn't take up any extra room in my kitchen. I can't believe we're gatekeeping tea.
Way faster than heating up water on the stove, using a kettle.
I have an electric kettle at my dads and not my moms so i end up using both methods and, yeah, they taste the same. the argument is stupid T^T
I use my freaking Keurig bruh, tastes the same

7:38 honestly not even a bad idea. Old folks who like the younger gen stuff have a lot of success on the internet. There’s the grandma that likes Skyrim, that grandpa who is really into gen z humor, and the nice old british chap who liked the phrase “W human”

Its different when you know the person and they know you, but for someone you've never met and or will never see again it feels nice.

Engineer designing the microwave to excite water molecules in particular...
Internet people think it's stupid to use a microwave to heat tea water...
It is literally the most energy efficient thing to do. Facepalm.
3:27 If I could restart at a younger age, I'd strongly insist on getting braces before my teeth were completely screwed up beyond repair. I'd put more effort into exercising, and take my studies more seriously so I could graduate with a scholarship rather than _just_ in the top 100 at my school.
All that said, 10 is too old-I'd want to start at 5 or so, so I can avoid getting hit by a car when I was 7, which made it painful to exercise, and contributed to me growing up fat and sad. So I'll take 25 and 50 mil, because I could use that to pay for one or two surgeries that would help me going forward, with the rest going towards rent.

Convince parents to put all their money in a certain stock, skip school because you know everything, get a job working for a relative pump that all in, eventually you’ll be rich and can work on yourself starting at a young age. The first computer I ever used was an Atari 800 when I was a toddler. It was 1989, my dad gave it to my cousins, and they let me play with it while they were figuring it out. He had bought it in 1980.

Batman wouldn't have tan lines, he operates at night.
Tea meme related, the British have water heaters in their tanks so they can make tea without exposing someone to gunfire
The context for the wedding photographer was that it was an old friend, they wouldn't let him sit down or eat, the ceremony and reception were several hours long, and they told him they weren't going to pay him at all. Guy said screw you and left. King shit.
Robin as a fellow 27y/o I gotta say the money is not my choice. I have changed so much since 20 and everything could be sooooo much easier if I knew everything at 10 I’ll go through it again to make people know me and not just let them tell me who I am
Just gonna say, about the virus meme, it's not talked about in the news as much, but it's still out there. My mom got it this week. My brother might have it, as an unvaccinated person (or the flu, which I assume he is vaccinated for, at least as a kid). People at my mom's work have it. It's not gone. But we have learned better how to deal with it. Still bad, still potentially dangerous, like the flu.
12:49 same. I've never heard or seen another American use microwave to make tea. The only time that would be used if if for example something came up and the tea went cold, and you want to warm it up again. What are you going to do, pour it out and make more tea? You do realize we have stoves and kettles? Sweet tea in the south is a huge thing and iced tea up north is a huge thing.

So about the hotel laundry. I work housekeeping in 2 hotels, both have guest laundry rooms and we cannot handle any personal belongings, actually when cleaning stayovers we are told we cannot make the bed if there are any personal belongings on it. 6:25 Fun fact! Heels were originally made for men!
Yeah, but they were on cowboy boots (and still are), not stilettos, they're so sharp they can cause foot pain...
@@adrianblake8876Nope! High heels - like, actual platform, wedge, & stem heels - were made as menswear (just like makeup & wigs) a few centuries before cowboy boots were invented.
Cowboy boots were invented in the mid-1800s, but high heels were invented in 10th century Persia. They later became fashionable in France from the 1400s to the French Revolution in 1789.
Several of the American founders wore high-heeled shoes, not boots, every day.
@@Nomadik Maybe you're correct, but where I heard the fact about high heels was that (1) the high heel was functional, not stylish.
