Waiting on your videos is like waiting on the next episode of a good series on television week to week! I'd definitely prefer one long video. Thanks for taking the time of doing them. Very informative!!
Wow Thanks, I appreciate that! I’m trying to extend the videos, the next one should be start to finish or close anyways.
I couldn't agree more. Powernation on the speed channel needs a show called rocks powersports. How could we petition for that???
Gotta say, since i first saw you vidoes till now, i watch every single one of them without even skipping a single stuff, this content is soul healing!
Wow thank you! Sure makes me want to keep creating when I hear things like that!
To be honest I couldn't tell the difference between this video and the other ones I appreciate everything you do for us
At least it’s not worse haha! Glad you enjoy them.
Love the new camera. The sound is 💯 percent better. Thanks for the videos. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, I’ll keep them coming.
Rock I love the upload schedule just wish it was 1 videos a day because I love to watch you in school when I’m bored
I try to get out as much as I can. Been messing with a new camera the past couple of days.
Rock! I no joke, watch every video that comes out. I like to put it on at night while I’m cleaning up and doing dishes, helps me decompress from the day. I was born and raised in VT (live in Connecticut now) but my Dad used to own an auto repair shop and the sounds of the tools and repairs brings me back to
I just started watching you and you are one of the only ones i dont skip through becuse you actually go in detail with the machines keep up the good work
They seem like well designed machines. Fixer friendly
Another great job love watching your work Arkansas Wavin
I Love watching your videos! I do enjoy the longer videos. The new camera is awesome! thanks for taking the time to make your videos, I'm so happy when I see your new videos come out. Thanks again for doing what you do.
Awesome, Thank you! I’ll keep the videos coming.
That machine looks a lot bigger than a 500. Would love to own that machine
The quality looks great! Nice and bright especially with the new drywall
Camera looks great! Definitely need doubled up plywood top for the new tool cart/bench. Leave some overhang so you can clamp stuff to it. Love your videos.
Thanks! Will absolutely leave some overhang as I’d like a larger area anyways.
Nice job Rock, give the videos coming, very interesting. ☃️👍👍
Thanks, I’ll keep them coming!
Looks good to me , your video, nice and clear
Glad to hear it!
If you get merch you can call it Rockawear 👌
You can't go wrong with the Sony . Audio is always the most important aspect of production though. There's a rule in the industry that people forgive bad video, but not bad audio.
I’ve been very happy with my audio lately with the Rode mic. Pricey but sounds good.
@@rockspowersports Your audio is pretty good.
Good camera work good quality video and audio.
Quite enjoyed your three part video
Amazing work
Awesome work. I watched all 3 parts
Great camera quality and audio!
Video quality is definitely better as well as your editing😊
Awesome, thanks! Glad you enjoyed the slower editing on this one.
Another great video Rock !! Keep up the good work man
I've been watching you since early on. Keep doing what you do. Liked the original test drives, but the repair vids are even better. Looks like I better get a torque wrench! Been guessing when I work on stuff up to this point.
Glad you’ve stuck around for so long. I’d like to bring some test drive videos back. Trying to get caught up on some work first though.
Some things are certainly fine to just feel the amount of torque you’re turning. However for something like cylinder head bolts, I always use a torque wrench.
The camera is excellent and the audio is way better, great videos.
Yeah I picked up a new mic a couple weeks ago, sounds great even outside. As long as I remember to wear it… I forgot in 1 part of this video, that’s why it got quiet..
Good evening !
Do you want the truth, Rock? Lol ! I've been enjoying your videos for a while now, although in the beginning, I thought you were a polaris guy riding your Indy axys 600. Regardless, I still like your videos! Keep them coming!
Not sure if I can handle the truth haha! I did really like the Indy 600 however I’m not fixed on any specific brand I really do enjoy them all.
The new camera is doing great even can hear you but the old way sometimes can’t hear you very well Arkansas Wavin
Thanks glad to hear it! The new mic setup I’ve been using on the past few videos sounds pretty good.
Great video. Super informative. You're doing great.
Thanks!
Great series! Keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Good vidéo like always
Best way to end the day !
I love the videos brother ! I need to bring my rincon 680 to you but I’m from GA !!
Thanks, glad to hear it!
That’s an awful long ways away from me though!
@@rockspowersports it’s worth the drive to me I know it would be done right !
The new camera is a definite improvement.
The filter looked so good because it was constantly getting fresh oil! 😂
Glad to hear it! And haha your so right about that filter😂
Arkansas Wavin
I dunno about u but I do go through a lot of shop towels here in Maine doing my outboard business .
I go through so many shop towels..
I’m guessing perfectly clean if it’s had no gas
😮
Same make and model but I have a fast idle issue, cleaned carb, new carb to engine boot, adjusted throttle cable to max and idle adjust backed off to not even touching, still idling too fast to shift gears! I'm at a loss as to what to do next, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! BTW I just found your channel and watched your whole video on the Quest!
You 100% need a sonic cleaner.
I have a smaller one, works good for carbs. It just takes time to warm it up then it takes a good 30 minutes to actually clean something… I usually just end up doing it by hand.
Looks very similar to a 660 grizzly carb
The video is way better quality in my opinion
Awesome, glad to hear it.
Rock I have the same machine here and I tore out the carb cleaned it..the owner replaced the solenoid and external coil box...and got me to change the starter...but it still cranks slow. I can't find info on the valves someone mentioned they arent adjustable is this correct? Is my issue valves or maybe primary? The engine does turn over just not well
Day 3 asking for a tool box tour
Howdy duty from indiana
That was fast! Howdy!
@@rockspowersports Ive been late on the last few posts so I thought id try and be early on this one.
Awesome, appreciate it! Hope you enjoy it.
@@rockspowersports I love your videos have a great night
Great build series.that machine sounds good!!
Looks good question have you ever owned a manual shift yamaha Kodiak 400
I have one
@@Specter8766 ya I have a few of them I have a 1995 1996 and a 1993 and more I also have a big bear and a grizzly and other Hondas and Polaris and things
@@Red-head-triple1 I got a 94 Kodiak they are reliable minus sat for 7 years when we got it we put a carb kit on it through some gas in it and she fired of course she has issues right now, but it’s expected for sitting that long
I have not. I have had the 2000 Kodiak 400 with the ultramatic trans.
@@Specter8766 they are super reliable and it’s nice because there’s no belt just a 5 speed manual with reverse I love my kodiak
Wonder if that one has a sump pan like my Traxter does, pulled mine and it was almost completely full of shavings 👎
Day 4 asking for tool box tour
My tool boxes aren’t anything special.
@@rockspowersports was just wondering for the future because everybody else on TH-cam just skins through they’re and don’t really explain what’s more useful
No way that rod bearing last long
My retention was 💯. Always wanting to know steps that you make to get things right. I don't plan on any service like this but I can be in the conversation. You did a bang up job. Mice really do make such a problem. Camera is clear and showed all the crud on the end of your awesome Milwaukee 🪛 up close. I watch you and 2vintage. Both of you tear stuff apart and explain well. Tried to get a syrup comment in there but I am soon to visit your state in the years ahead.
Glad to hear you made it through the whole thing! Nice, Coming to visit Vermont! It’s nice if you like the outdoors, most of Vermont is pretty rural so not a lot of attractions.
