I love this sequence and appreciate your instructions on how to use blocks to maximize benefits of each pose. I like swan and I'm curious about benefits of swan vs. pigeon; they're similar but swan seems less intense. Lovely river scenery and sounds. Thank you!
HI TubeLiss, Glad to hear you enjoyed this - Swan and Pigeon are really the same pose, but with different approaches to alignment. The Yin approach to Swan pose is less rigid, allowing a more variety of foot, hip and torso positions - which makes the pose more effective for many people. Pigeon is usually done with more exact alignment angles - could also be considered just *one* of the many alignment choices of swan.
