    Dr. RJ used to be our dean in college when LCHF diet was unknown to us. He became a hardcore advocate of LCHF diet after the death of his brother.

    I have maybe a quarter cup of rice with my afternoon meal too but not every day. I alternate between rice, potatoes, pasta, veggies, salad. It does not kick me out of ketosis and even if it did I wouldn’t care. I’m not trying to lose weight. I’m trying to eat healthy. My plate looks more appealing with that tinny potato, a couple of boiled baby carrots and small side salad. Many times I don’t even eat it all but since my hubby isn’t willing to change his way of eating I still have to cook the standard meals. During the day I limit carbs to minimum. I don’t eat bread because even one thin slice of bread with ham and eggs would raise my blood glucose to over 130. My blood glucose is usually below 90 but after a large meal I’d like to keep it below 120. Works for me.

    I got addicted to softdrinks milk tea and coke float that's why I got stroke now I'm thinking of going low carb for my fast recovery 😊

    Kamote, half cup of rice, ramen still carbs. Ginagawa lang po siguro to once "goal weight" ka na and nasa "expert level" ka na po.. Ika nga nila, needs o wants? So si Sir nasa "wants".. Dahil dinadaan nya ito sa exercise para ma-burn. ☺️

      Important questions: What’s your BMI now? What’s your ideal weight target? What illnesses do you have now? Are you doing low carb/very low carb keto right?
