I grew up in Saskatchewan and we sold popcorn balls at every bake sale! I don't make them very often now as an adult, but I still love them! maybe for some , but not in my neck of the woods, where they throw candy corn (🤮) raisins and random candies into it. Plain popcorn + marshmallow + butter (maybe chilis or fun spices, or even salt and herbs) is a different game.
Rach, you should get the grating attachment that hooks onto the front of the kitchenaid mixer. I shred/grate my cheeses in seconds. Also thinly sliced potatoes for augratin

I just got back from a trip to Alberta and pickle pizzas are like a whole THING in Calgary. We had one that was dill pickle, bacon, and honey and the honey reaaaally helps cut through and balance out the saltiness.
You should try caramel pretzel brownies. I make them in the mini cupcake tins, pretzel crust so just crushed pretzel and butter, then half a cube of caramel, then brownie batter. Salty, sweet, chewy and gooey all in one bite

Popcorn balls with the rice crispy recipe is old news. My Mom started making these in the early 60’s and we still do today. One stick of butter, one large bag of marshmallows, 4 cups of popcorn. I’ve started to add salt for that sweet/salty taste
I make "rice crispy squares" but use a combination of whatever sweet cerial suits me at the time (usually several kinds), crushed pretzels and chocolate chips! It's a favorite snack when we go camping!
Right before Valentine's day I made krispies using marshamallows, strawberry extract, and ghirardelli chocolate sauce. The mixture didn't turn out well enough to incorporate into the krispie bars I had started earlier in the day, so it was more of a topping. Rustic as hell, but tasted so good.
I feel like the popcorn marshmallows needed some salt, I love the sweet salt combo. I’ve never had straight pickle pizza but I have had cheeseburger pizza with pickles and it’s delicious
One thing each on pizza and pickles: -Bacon and jarred banana peppers is currently my favorite pizza -The local farmers market had a recipe last summer for cucumber slaw that was fantastic and I really like on a burger. It's 1/2-1T sugar; 1/4 c white vinegar; 1/2 of a small onion; 1 cucumber; salt/pepper; and any othe veggies to taste (carrot, capers, bell pepper...). You shred the cucumber w/ the big holes on a grater and then let that drain in a strainer for a little bit. Dice the onion and dice or shred the other veggies. Then you toss everything together in a bowl and let it sit in the fridge 20 min.
