Midranges from 22 seems to do alright & there is no point changing your flagship. My Pixel 6 Pro is still good, I only got the newer Pixel because my mom was starting to hate her phone (A71) & because the battery life was too short for the few days I use it a lot. It's not the right way to look at gaming capabilities - 3d mark is 100% load, when you game the load is less, maybe 80% on average, so Samsung will hold on to a lot more power when not pushed to the absolute limit. It wont be a 15% difference after throttling, but maybe like 30-40%.
I'm a Samsung Ultra fan, as I use the zoom lenses to help me see things in everyday life. And based on the tests that I've seen, the Pixel does not keep up with the Samsung in the longer zoom ranges.
That is definitely false. I have tested both, and I the 9 Pro is superior in zoom. The super res zoom feature takes super crisp zoom photos. And then, after the photo is taken, there is an on-device AI feature called "zoom enhance" which allows you to zoom even further and add detail with AI. It is really quite incredible, and blows the Samsung out of the water. Both the Samsung and the Google have the same optical zoom level in their telephoto lens, but the Google has better software

They're both great phones. That said, I looked @ all the options last week & bought the one that ticks all the right boxes for me. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is my 3rd Pixel phone.
I've got one and the display seems great, not washed out at all, I have changed mine to use the full screen resolution and not high resolution which is the default, but that didn't seem to change that much. I do find the adaptive brightness can be a little slow on occasion and don't think putting the light sensor on the camera module on the back was a good choice! as if you have the rear cameras covered by either your hand or if you have a wallet/flip case the screen dims even in bright sunlight.
I think nowadays AI features were something catchy but let's be honest, how many times would you use the "Pixel studio" app as a common user? I think people want to decide what kind of features they want to see o their devices but mske sure their current phone is able to run those tasks 🤷♂️
ive had both, traded s24 ultra for 9 pro xl.. i got to say i missed stock android from back in the days. yes the s24 ultra is smooth but the pixel is next level smooth and the camera on the samsung was a major disappointment. the rounded edges are welcome the reason for the trade was i had to send back the s24 ultra because of the crappy screen, flickering, visible colour gradients and random total powerloss with oled bleed no regrets at all getting a pixel
Yeah when you start seeing 50% performance differences in supposedly newer chip, 30% is not massive in comparison.but a generation of 3 years CPU if the difference is 20% it's considered a good performance increase for a generational leap. So google is trying to sell internal development prototypes to the masses maybe to cover the cost of on going development, but as a customer ,do you Really want the experience of a 3 years old performance where the Snapdragon 8 gen 4 is months away? Keep what ever phone you have now and wait for the cheapest Snapdragon 8 gen 4 phone you can get in 3 months it will probably miss a thing or two of "high end" features but it will be the wiser choice.

With the front camera, yes it is wide but how about the microphone, that wasn't even touched upon. Not only that, the color tone on Galaxy is close to real life unlike the washed out look on Pixel. 2. Even though many don't use 8k, Pixel still lacks a direct 8k recording. And many more.
Exactly. You take a 4k video send it to a server which upscakes it to 8k which can take up to over an hour. I don't know what Google has shoved up so many reviewers asses for them to make unobjective reviews.
Many reviews mentioned that pixel has minimal stuttring in transition from app to app So, I think Soc isn't only weaker in games but in every daily task & this is brand new phone not 2 years old phone , how is it going to age ? & Why there is no mention for type of memory nor storage type.

I would pick up the Galaxy because I like the rectangular screen ( Pixel's one corners are too rounded), smaller selfie hole, Titanium and less processed, more natural photos and more versatile camera overall. Also the Galaxy is available literally everywhere whereas Pixels aren't (Google ignored New Zealand, 👎 for that). For this reason here in NZ the Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB with 2 years warranty costs less than parallel imported with no warranty Pixel 9 Pro Max. So the choice is obvious.

The Tensor 4 is just a shame. There's literally zero reason to compare both of these phones when considering raw performance. I have both. The only thing the Pixel has going for it is the excellent camera, and the fact that it will convert iPhone users over to Android. It's way too Apple-y. Just my honest opinion.
At 4:46 the colors from the front facing video cameras of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL look so washed out and terrible in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Look at how washed out and inaccurate his skin tone is in comparison.

I do find the adaptive brightness can be a little slow on occasion and don't think putting the light sensor on the camera module on the back was a good choice! as if you have the rear cameras covered by either your hand or if you have a wallet/flip case the screen dims even in bright sunlight.
Definitely not washed out to me. Go to display settings and see if you have it set to " natural" or " adaptive".
@@MarishaEdwards-mc2qd mine either looks fine
Once a samsung note user always a samsung note user 👊
I think nowadays AI features were something catchy but let's be honest, how many times would you use the "Pixel studio" app as a common user?
I think people want to decide what kind of features they want to see o their devices but mske sure their current phone is able to run those tasks 🤷♂️
ive had both, traded s24 ultra for 9 pro xl.. i got to say i missed stock android from back in the days. yes the s24 ultra is smooth but the pixel is next level smooth and the camera on the samsung was a major disappointment. the rounded edges are welcome
the reason for the trade was i had to send back the s24 ultra because of the crappy screen, flickering, visible colour gradients and random total powerloss with oled bleed
no regrets at all getting a pixel
The pixel camera is kicking Samsungs ass
Currently in dilemma, up to get a new phone in November.
Pixel 9 Pro XL or S24 Ultra.
Optionally my now 3 year old OnePlus 9 Pro gets a bit more life if I decide to wait the extra 2-3 months for the S25 Ultra
Good choice
Can you suggest me which one should I buy upcoming s25 ultra or iPhone 16 pro max
Currently I am using Vivo x 100 pro
@@AS_Sanu2just wait and compare yourself in the end. Patience always passt off.
Many of the details were left out and it looked like just a marketing for Pixel 9 Pro XL here. For example,
S24 ultra for sure
Many reviews mentioned that pixel has minimal stuttring in transition from app to app
So, I think Soc isn't only weaker in games but in every daily task & this is brand new phone not 2 years old phone , how is it going to age ?
& Why there is no mention for type of memory nor storage type.
What reviewer said this? I have the 9 Pro Xl and don't have that stutter...
I haven't seen any reviews mention this but I read on Reddit a few users complained about stutters.
@@JRAnalyzes look at speed tests from xeetechare & nickackerman

@@malekinception So not really many reviews but reddit comments? I am on Reddit but I do not see many comments like that... I definitely do not have any issues, and swapping between open apps is very very smooth for me. Other critiques can be said about pixel 9 but not that.
You're Bulgarian, right?
I don't like the red tint on the photos of the pixel camera.
I am planning to upgrade my phone as my S20FE 5G is still Android 13 and my company need Android 14.
Can you help if Samsung will provide 7yrs or major OS update like Pixel?
I am thinking between Pixel 9 Pro XL vs S24 Plus.
After 2 update pixel 9 could be used as paperweight with that obscene cpu
yes 7 years of each on my s24 ultra
What is with the film artifacts?
Can't help but notice he said that there wasn't a significant difference in gaming between the two and then continued to point out how the Galaxy is 30% better at it lol😂😂
Waiting for Pixel 10 ; sticking to my iPhone 13 Pro one more year
there is somehting about the pixel software that keeps me wanting to come back, i just wish they would spec the tensor up in power a bit more.
Finally someone talking about the sensor size
At 4:46 the colors from the front facing video cameras of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL look so washed out and terrible in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Look at how washed out and inaccurate his skin tone is in comparison.
Amazing review, the pixel get hot?
Man , The review is too biased. The front Camera video on Pixel look3d okay, but the clarity and details are way better on S24 Ultra. Still you say Pixel has better front Camera video? Sounded lol to me.
Idk why I should pick a pixel vs the s24u with gcam
It's ALUMINIUM damn it, not aluminum
No one cares
I care
It's spelled aluminum in American English - which was the original spelling before the British decided to change it.
Both are valid.
@@ecole146this is correct.
Overall base on all the review i must say s24 ultra is the winner but pixel 9 pro xl is a excellent and gorgeous device. You cant go wrong.
Pure marketing bullcrap, this is just pure marketing.
Didn't upgrade from 8 pro. Just hate the button placement. Oppo is my favourite ❤
You should inform that all AI features won't work in EU!
No hatter here but like we get it Pixel Is better in every way or should I say much better ... everything is so much better with Pixel 🙄... everything is so amazing with Pixel... if its something better on the samsung, the explanation is so short .... l mean everything ends with Pixel is better like it sounds so biased
Soyez honnête et claires les photos de pixel 9 pro on voit bien ils sont fausse trop clair à la réalité 😂 mais Galaxy s24 ultra les photos ils sont magnifiques 😻 n’importe qu’elles conditions❤
I wouldn't take Samsung the green screen of death is real
Spoiler Alert. Both phones are great and it’s about personal preference.
S23 Ultra was great. S24 Ultra has so many issues. Not recommended at all.
This year, the Pixel is a winner.
Love pixel but its expensive than s24u and only 128$
Why not even single One is comparing with S23 Ultra
Why would they??
The s24 wins
I like it..
Oneplus 12 is the go to phone for value and performance.
S24 Ultra FTW!
None. Wait for S28
😊👍🙏
For me better go with the OP 12 its an overall phone on my opinion. Camera quality isnt that far also
No. OP12 is not there yet.
S22 U still better than pixel
I had an s22 u it was a good phone but the camera was awful.
Samsung is really messy and not at all polished.
Camera is a winner for Pixel, hands down.
All the hardware crappy details comparison don't make sense
Seems mire like pixel bias.
Shutter lag on S24U makes it worthless. Phone of the year ? LoL
Samsung interface looks exactly the same for last 10 years. It's boring and over featured.
Really? OneUI wasn't even around 10 years ago. Pixel uses bare Android, so how much more boring can that get? You need to check out the latest Samsung phones and how powerful and customisable OneUI is before making an uneducated comment.
