Di, you have made o gorgeous fabric, and stars. I love yoour fly by the seat of your pants pattern. I would have measured centre point to centre point rather than measuring five triangles, but my mind may work differently. This quote is absolutely beautiful. I love it you can even make it out of the leftover scraps from your fat quarter cuts when you're square them up. I have to also thank you for the binding hack because it really has helped me. I was having such a struggle with bindings And I have some before and have done those corners and I have to absolutely forgot to carry over from my Garment sewing to quilting that you leave that extra extra little bit So thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you

I learned my lesson a year ago when sewing a table runner with precut fabrics even and a pattern, that triangles are a pain in the b....! I was first time quilter and I never had pieced before so I appreciate seeing in detail how I should have done it.. I admire your quilt and the skill you've graciously shared with us, Get some sleep!

Di for doing measurements like those background strips I make too many mistakes so now I cut the size out of paper and tape the papers together to make a paper template. I can then check it’s correct before using it to cut the fabric. Kudos to you for getting those strips cut out correctly.

I was telling you about the block, then I laughed at the Engineers comment about it. I think you did a wonderful job and the quilt math gave me a headache.
