Synaesthesia is wild! Your ISFJ friend is the color of the sofa ... 😅 It is hard for us non-synthaesthesians to picture how this happens, even though I've had someone else describe it similarly before. Visual snow is easy to describe and is much less interesting...

Haha yes a bit awkward that my sofa is the same color as my best friend 😅 you are blue in my mind (since Dulles starts with D...but your real name is also blue), but like with a earthy-colored corduroy too somehow? Idk it makes sense in my head 😂

@@radishraven9 And your observations are brilliant Ingrid. Your video knocked loose an inspiration that's going to tie together a bunch of different points (when I can get around to saying something about it).
It's got nothing to do with synesthesia ... not directly. To explain (though I'm going to sound really dumb and obvious here at the top level), we map people to certain feelings. People "feel" a certain way. We do this with people all the time -- everyone does -- but we don't think about it. But call attention to this, and pay attention to what's going on, and it's a real rabbit hole of a topic...!

    Hello Ingrid,
It's good to see you again.
It's the first time I'm watching a video of someone's who has synesthesia so it's really interesting. Thank you for sharing.
I'm wondering which color you associate with me ?
What about pomme like p in PACA region ( province Alpes Côte d'Azur) which is by the sea so it's dark blue? 😅
I didn't know there are different types of synesthesia.
    Interesting test.
It somehow makes sense for one and six to be male for person raised in France ( on dit bien un six et un ).
It's really interesting that you have these associations.
It adds more uniqueness to the one you already have.
Well for foreigners to apply a french university you have to have a certain certificate for the french language ( in my case B2 level) plus a personal statement plus the grades of course which something I did to get accepted.
That's a sweet association with your best friend.
For me you presence can be calming.
It was lovely to see you again.
Have a good evening Ingrid 😊

All very interesting! An old sweetheart of mine who was a very fine harpsichordist also had mild synesthesia. She would associate musical key signatures with specific colors as well as days of the week. She also had perfect pitch. I wondering if there is any connection between perfect pitch and synesthesia. Do you happen to know if you have perfect pitch?

No unfortunately i do not have perfect pitch, but yes it would definitely correlate with synesthesia if you have a color for each key or note!

I’m sure I heard somewhere you can teach yourself Synesthesia but might be wrong. Besides there is so many different ways you can have Synesthesia. Something that interested me was a personal idea I had and that was is it possible that it’s related to introverted sensory as it’s organising stuff and possibly being sentimental about it. I could possibly be wrong. Would be interesting to hear your opinion or observation on that.

Hmm possibly? The theory i heard is that you can get synesthesia after a head injury but that you can't "train yourself" to have it. Most children have synesthesia where they are small and it grows away with time as we learn to categorize things in the world

@@radishraven9 Yes this is the problem with the internet anyone can post anything. That’s what I had head when I first came across the term. It is interesting I’ll have to look more into it.

    Hey Ingrid,
I'm an INFP and have been thinking alot about the link between the INFP personality type and neurodivergence.
Is there any way to reach you directly?
Would be great to get your thoughts on all the things I've been thinking about.
