    The 9% custom support is a bit of a cheat though since you aren't supporting as many problem areas, such as the reign's on the side of the horse's head.
    Did you try to print the connecting parts? I tried using the newest version (alpha3) and the connector's wouldn't fit..I had to expand the holes using a drill. I suspect it's because the male and female parts were printed using different orientations, so nozzle size was a factor. Even so, the cut tool is still amazing, especially since you can hold down shift and slice at any angle. It's great for organic models.

      Hi, for the support, you will need to spend time to design the custom support yourself. As you can see in this video th-cam.com/video/_j6a6hdQGCY/w-d-xo.html that I could print the model at the end with that 9% support (of course the result is optimal through many tries and errors).
      For the connectors, I haven't tried to print it yet but the orientations for sure have strong effect on the fitness. You can just print the same diameter holes on different axes and you can see the axial accuracy of your printer for adjusments.

    You should compare the tree support with cura 5.3.0, prusa organic support are actually the same.

      Hi, thank you for your comment. I just checked with the Cura 5.3.0 alpha and the tree support now only 14%. That's an amazing number for not spending time design the support yourself.

    Is it possible to export out the tree supported model as an stl? Is it an option for that?

    • @gubutek
      @gubutek  ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I know you cannot export the support from Cura to STL file :(

      @@csabalazar8937 for the version 2.6 alpha3 that I have, you can't do that. The only export that includes the support is when the printer is Prusa SL1

    hi since you made custom support for cura, shouls add custon or painted support in prusa and it should decrease that 20% also, and should show at the end of vid beacause, prusa is much more usable then cura and just passed big advances from cura!

    • @gubutek

      Hi, I did try painted support in Prusa but I did not get the clean result like Cura. I usually use PrusaSlicer but with some small figures like that one Cura gave me better quality. Happy making.
