Its correct. The new GT2 has not the downforce of GT3 but more power. The plan is, that the new GT2 is again a not so technical overpowered expensive category. The focused drivers are rich or older drivers (Bronze). The lap times should be (mostly) a little bit higher than GT3. I think ACC is so far realistic.
Thanks for the explanation! I was expecting the GT2 to be quicker, faster, and better aerodynamically as well, but this is solely based on Gr2 vehicle performance in Gran Turismo 7, it was the only reference i had. But will definitely try some more testing (in ACC) on different tracks, im expecting a different result at Spa.
@@osg_oldschoolgamerzdon't take GT7 for reference here. Group 2 there is just Super GT cars and a few old Le Mans cars that don't fit anywhere else there. It's not based on any official category
Not a fair comparison tbh. Not just for different lines and missing apexes for example your exit out of t1 you took it tighter with the GT3 and t6 the Gt2 had a wider entry but missed the apex, they also look like they were taken by different games. The GT3 looks as though it could of been a console recording
Its the best lap times i could put together in a 10 lap stint for each car. Both stints done on pc. Will do some more testing, it's interesting, the GT3 is an easier, more enjoyable drive for me. Thank you for watching!
@@matthewratcliffe1953 it makes a huge difference. You only can properly show a comparison between these two cars when your are able to drive certain lap times. Because on this track which has more corners than straigts youll see that the gaps between these cars is higher than at spa for example. So a certain pace is important to show the difference between there cars.

Idk if someone told you but in the gt3 you are 5 seconds offpace & at least 3 in the gt2
I am aware of my pace, still having a blast though, thank you for watching!
Who cares if he is off the pace.... jesus 🤦🏻♂️
@@matthewratcliffe1953 Its a comparison of sector and lap times. Its useless to compare laps which are that far offpace. Jesus christ......
@@elvinco8406 ummm yeah think about it it's all relative to his pace so it makes zero difference 🤦🏻♂️ jesus

Interesting approach ACC is taking here
I wonder which is more realistic, in terms of vehicle performance and the gap between GT2 and GT3, Gran Turismo or ACC...
