The key is on the left for Le Mans starts, it’s a racing heritage thing. You would run to your car, jump in, use your right hand to put it in gear, left to start, drive off and buckle up.
As a Porsche 996 Turbo owner, I watched this series with great interest. I am very happy you have worked out most of the issues and can now enjoy it. It has turned out awesome! You have given me plenty to think about regarding mods to my own Porsche. First and foremost the bitchin’ carbon fiber roof panel conversion. Please keep the great content coming. I can’t wait for the next one.
Fernando loving Big X is awesome lolol. Great video guys! Yall produce some of the best, most interesting content with the builds yall have been taking on!
Honest to God dude you had my heart pounding with excitement when you went to fire it up and it actually had oil pressure. One of those fuck yeah moments that comes so rarely.
Sitting on the edge of my seat on this one! So many ups and downs....starting with"OH NOOO" then "YEA", then another OH NO, finally at the end YEA!! You certainly have perseverance
Congrats man! All the trials and tribulations just make it that much sweeter. Keep pumping out quality content like this and you’ll be moving up through the various Supercar ownership ranks in no time! This car is a credit to you, Congrats 👍👍🍻
Hope this isnt too late to say, but the coolant has to be vacuum filled on these cars. For one, it would have shown up the leak before filling. And the second thing is filling like you did can cause air pockets in the water jacket leading to hot spots & warping, putting you back to square one... Hope it goes well, as thats a stunning car now!
watching this build has given me way too much confidence in tearing apart 911 turbos and putting them back together. I just ripped a 911 turbo engine out today and I think I am putting in an ls7 in its place.
So happy to see that you got these problems fixed and its driveable and you actually show the bad things to! Very inspirational and motivates me to work on my car! I recently purchased a Bmw E30 and plan to swap a motor in the near future!
Glad you were able to get a win with that doo dad that helps with the oil pressure. Hope the brakes won't set you back after figuring out what is going on with them. Looking forward to the next update.
I was genuinely bummed by the last video but wow what an incredible outcome. I've been wanting to see this beast move under its own power for a long time
I drove my 1320 without any plates at all, NY State Trooper right behind me, turn by turn, then stopped following me. I still havent opened up that car! Spring is here though Time to burn some rubber! And you guys, get to the Demon!
that was a great build,i was happy for you on the oil problem good catch, car looks amazing ,although i thought it would be a lot louder ,anyways have fun enjoy that car
I knew the oil pump wasn’t the problem (from experience), I’m so glad it was an easy fix. Having to rebuild the engine again would have sucked real bad.
When you pull those paper filters, it’s a better practice to cut them down once from top to bottom and spread out the paper. This makes it easy to see any trapped sparkly bits. Makes it easy to see the color of those bits to determine the possible issues by metal types. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
I have a 997 C2S 6-speed with the turbo’s carbon ceramic brake option and the brakes feel bad until warm. When cold, the brake petal doesn’t give good feedback and the brakes don’t bite. But when warm/hot, best brakes I’ve ever felt. Can’t make them fade when trying.
Great vid, cheers guys. Why didn't you plug the scan tool in and cycle the abs module whilst bleeding the brakes, it's a real thing, more people need to do it more often.
Porsche finally decided to put proper dual A arm suspension on the latest GT3 . Every single person that's driven the new one , says that it makes a huge difference . MacPherson strut suspension is just like front-wheel drive . It was designed to save money , at the expense of performance . Maybe someday BMW will follow suit , instead of spending the money on convincing people that they build the ultimate drivers car . Maybe one day they'll actually build the ultimate drivers car .
Lucky it wasn't the oil pump as the last couple of bolts in a complete strip of the block are on that oil pump. You can't go any deeper into a 911 engine build than the oil pump. Whew! Test drive at 2AM was totally responsible as it was already warmed up Now drive the snot out of that beast! Well done!!
From the color to the carbon fiber, even if it's been a huge pain in the ass.... It's fucking 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽, seriously. Gorgeous, sounds great even through the microphone...even when Fernando stalls it🤣 I'm sure once you get it mostly worked out it will RIP too!
HAHAHA ITS DEF NOT THE BELT!! I had the same squeaking and wasted a bunch of money on parts only for it to be the exhaust tips rubbing on the bumper. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same in yours
You had us all sucked in with that last video. Lets hope you didn't wipe the bottom end on that motor 😢. So handy to have a spare 911 turbo just hanging around to rob coolant hoses, pressure relief valves, etc etc 🤣🤣
I know the responsible thing to do would be to wait until the morning and take it for a test drive.......🤣 Technically it was morning! Congrats on getting her up and running. Great job!
I have done the same thing with that brake issue. I had to do it a bunch of times for it to work. Drive around and slam on brakes over and over again .

Yup this
Thanks for the info
I read a while ago it was due to a copper shortage long ago and to save wire they moved it to the left side.
Has nothing to do with that. Porsche already came out and explained it.
I’ve always thought this was super interesting and cool 🎉

Fernando loving Big X is awesome lolol. Great video guys! Yall produce some of the best, most interesting content with the builds yall have been taking on!
I spent too much time in TX the past year, Big X has been in the main rotation!
Honest to God dude you had my heart pounding with excitement when you went to fire it up and it actually had oil pressure. One of those fuck yeah moments that comes so rarely.
4:32 building oil pressure is the best moment in TH-cam history! Amazing series’s
Wow, your honesty and transparency in sharing this experience is truly commendable.
Really happy you finally got it on the road brother! Congrats! Lots of hard work. I'm sure it feels awesome to finally drive it.
So glad you got it running and no damage!! Car looks and sounds amazing!
Way to stick with it, glad it's almost done! Can not wait to shelf this thing and get on that 3000gt!
Love the drive-by of the Crab Deck in the background during the test drive!
My eyes were GLUED to the oil pressure gauge while you were cranking it and when it first nudged up I got so happy for you. Awesome solve!
Your enthusiasm for the hobby is infectious.
I don't own any of the cars you feature, but enthusiastically subbed
Awesome build. Channel just keeps getting better!🎉
Sitting on the edge of my seat on this one! So many ups and downs....starting with"OH NOOO" then "YEA", then another OH NO, finally at the end YEA!! You certainly have perseverance

Been following from the start and I'm so happy for you bro. The finish line is so close 💥
I loooooove the sound of turbo whistle. Even in my little poko, it sounds awesome.
My man, so EFFING happy for you.
It's beautiful! And I am glad you guys dodged a bullet with the pressure valve.
That purple looks so good man. Happy to see this beaut making spooly noises on the road 😍
that cop must watch your youtube and seen all the cameras and said not today :) its good to see.
Congrats man! All the trials and tribulations just make it that much sweeter.

Congrats 👍👍🍻
Sick car! So nice to see it moving now! Love this build you do an awesome job!
Been waiting SO LONG for a 930 (997) 911 vid. This vid fully Satisficed me.
It's awesome to finally see this build on the street!
Great progress, dawg
Thanks dawg!

Great news! Awesome video. Loving the seats!
It's Running! I knew you would get it solved. Once you get it all dialed in go enjoy it.
watching this build has given me way too much confidence in tearing apart 911 turbos and putting them back together. I just ripped a 911 turbo engine out today and I think I am putting in an ls7 in its place.

Congratulations guys. After all that hard work, you finally get this is awesome 👏
Wow amazing to see it run after all this time. That is one sick car I love it.
And finally!! The car looks immense worth the wait, let's see what it does on the dyno.
Keep up the great content guys 👌
Videos keep getting better and more hilarious, keep up the good work
glad to see youre enjoying yourself
Glad you were able to get a win with that doo dad that helps with the oil pressure. Hope the brakes won't set you back after figuring out what is going on with them. Looking forward to the next update.
I was genuinely bummed by the last video but wow what an incredible outcome. I've been wanting to see this beast move under its own power for a long time
you need to plug the ecu diagnostic tool in and run the brake bleed routine to get all the air out, manual bleeding wont work.
I love this kind of videos, I love them
I drove my 1320 without any plates at all, NY State Trooper right behind me, turn by turn, then stopped following me. I still havent opened up that car! Spring is here though
Time to burn some rubber! And you guys, get to the Demon!
This video gave me serotonin 😂 between the oil pressure finally building and the initial “irresponsible” first test drive at night, I love it hahaha
that was a great build,i was happy for you on the oil problem good catch, car looks amazing ,although i thought it would be a lot louder ,anyways have fun enjoy that car
Wow a lot of hard work, congratulations!
The paint on that car is gorgeous.
I knew the oil pump wasn’t the problem (from experience), I’m so glad it was an easy fix. Having to rebuild the engine again would have sucked real bad.
These videos are really encouraging

I never rated the 997 but yours looks awesome and I'm now considering one myself. Well done!

All over Kent Island my stomping grounds… bring that porshe to the ego alley cars and coffee
Love hearing those turbos whistle
Couldn't help not to laugh because I feel your pain with stuff like that. I build cars from bare shells and rarely do things go as planned and easy.
Love that colour..purple metallic rocks..!
Amazing to see it moving
Long time coming... congrats great to see it driving
Video was hilarious! Glad it's fixed and was almost a simple fix. Try bleeding those brakes manually, pump pump pump hoooold
Another cracking vid great to see you drive it
Cop looked and was like nah to much paperwork 😆😆
Funny seeing you guys in my hometown Lol loving the builds
Your voice is so similar to David Wilcock's voice. Incredible 😳😲
Love ur content keep it up car came out sick ❤
Glad you got it sorted but can't believe the engine specialist did'nt check the relief valves! Especially since they are know to give problems
gotta use a scan tool to activate certain abs valves for that brake bleed
This. Must use a scan tool to purge the ABS.
BIG X DA PLUG ONLY KNOW FOR THE STEPPIN
What good machine good luck with it bro🔥🔥🔥
Great diag, you just wouldn’t think anyone would be dicking around with those. I’m leaning towards your theory, drain plug
Looks som freakin clean😍😍 Put a GT2/GT3 wing on it
Car is so perfect…! I love the color & the wheels! I run Apex’s on my 650H.P. 135i….💪🏻🔥🏁
Love it. Admirely envious :) Between you and Mat Armstrong's Porche reconstructions, I'm ready for my bank account to be drained LOL.
SPECTACULAR BUILD!!!!!! 🔥 🔥
Congrats man!! Fuck yeah! Earned that win. There would be no learning at all if it wasnt the hard way.
It's a good day when you post
SOUNDS AMAZING
Excellent job...keep up the good work
nothing beats the turbo whine. i love my gl63 turbo whine.
I love the stance on this car looks great

Over the moon to see you drive that bad ass gangsta whip 😎
The officer probably watches the channel, haha. LOVING this build. Cheers 🤘🤘

AMAZING work. well done. and well deserved.
It’s alive🥹. What a great build, that 997 looks so awesome. I love it 😻.
HAHAHA ITS DEF NOT THE BELT!! I had the same squeaking and wasted a bunch of money on parts only for it to be the exhaust tips rubbing on the bumper. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same in yours
Man you guys have the life!
You had us all sucked in with that last video. Lets hope you didn't wipe the bottom end on that motor 😢. So handy to have a spare 911 turbo just hanging around to rob coolant hoses, pressure relief valves, etc etc 🤣🤣
I think the squeaking might be the exhaust rubbing on the bumper from the vibrations, but I might be wrong. Congrats tho! If only I could own a 911😂
Finally now more room for the demon to have some progress!!!
I know the responsible thing to do would be to wait until the morning and take it for a test drive.......🤣
Technically it was morning! Congrats on getting her up and running. Great job!
