      Inspired. Subscribed.
800+ hp in that car will be awesome.
I'm thinking of an Ls3 into my 986s boxster. The m96 in it has no modification support because it's a poo engine.
There's no point rebuilding it to turbo or leave NA. The cost is ridiculous.
Did you say where the kits are available and I missed it?

Lots of parts/money put into it, I would have at least put in bearings and likely forged pistons/rods too. If your going to have twin turbos, might as well be able to take advantage of the boost. Seeing metal has been in the oil from the cam, at least check bearings.

Since the rear motor plate is on bushings, I suggest adding a secondary support up top after you have your intake piping, since it might flex a bit, maybe the bottom takes care of most of it, but it might help if you're getting weird weight transfer behavior

I really like the welder, he's cool. You really can't get more than about 400HP out of an M97 engine rebuilt to 4.2 liters (which makes for a fantastic car) so if you want more HP and you're not a purist (no 996/997.1 owners are) then by all means swap to a simple Chevy engine. I would R&R Porsche engines singlehandedly all day long including tubos and often you'd have 1cm/1/3" clearance between breaking shit and not ha ha. The $500 lift table from Harbor Freight is a great help in engine R&R on Porsches.

Do you have adjustable camber arms? You can run a lil more camber and clear the fenders that way.

As a dyed in the wool Porsche guy for over 60 years. I might just like this build.. Hummm~~~~?.. Think I'll search for a 911 roller and maybe put a LS in it. . I'm keeping my current Porsches all stock. Yep, this could be fun !!
