    Well done Rob! First proper start to finish "how-to" on youtube about fitting the headset. Very cool that you are sharing your experience and totally humble about it. Keep on!

    Great stuff bud 👍 👏 thanks for your videos which you so painstakingly put together for the masses to watch and gain valuable information on the lambretta so us lazy bois 😀 can watch and hopefully follow to maintain our trusty steeds and save us from having to read manuals and involved books which are normally in Italian and get translated not too exact and never have the latest items in to help fit and fettle, only thing I could say about this video is when using rotary wire brushes you only used a pair of glasses and i would myself have used a full face covering like a grinding screen or the like, as these rotary brushes lose their wires at a alarming rate ,and especially the cheap ones which you said you were actually using yourself.
    These wires can fly off from the wheel and stick you in the face etc.
    Anyhow please keep this up and help us minions stay on the road with safe classic machines 🙏 😀 😉 👍 Wayne.......

      I haven't made a specific video for choke cable. But I'm pretty sure I've shown it a couple of times but can't remember which videos 🙈

    Hello Rob, i have a question. On the spindle that connects to the throttle wheel you have a bolt that tightens onto the spline, i dont have a bolt, mine looks like a pin. Are they drifted out to release the wheel or is there another way? I'll need to remove it at sometime because i have a casa front disc kit coming.

    • @kickbackgarage
      @kickbackgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The later type have a split pin you will need to drift out. The rods don't have splines on your type either. I think it was a cost thing. The newer they are, the more plastic they used.

    Another great vid Rob, apart from the usual hammer, mole grips good socket set, what specialized tools do I need as a new lambretta owner? and what size socket is the engine bolt (nut) pls? Also is there any chance you could do a quick vid on the side panel handles bcas I own a 63 Li the handles are really tight to fasten them after removing the panels I end up on my knees tryna re fit them :) .

    • @kickbackgarage
      @kickbackgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Panels are coming in a later vid, as for tools, basic lambretta kit would be spark plug socket, hex key 3.5mm if you are still using original type cable trunnions. Engine prop stand, for changing rear tyre's, gaffer tape and zip ties 😂 if you haven't got Stickies manual, then that's a great book for most info.

    Hi I have the GP model which has the plastic throttle & gear change spindle which are brittle and snap, do you think the brass ones will be any better for mine 👍

    • @kickbackgarage
      @kickbackgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, always. Plastic was only introduced by innocenti to cut cost.
