The tip about walking away when you've had enough is very good advice.
At times I have struggled with a job only to do it in minutes when I returned to it the next day

Very good advice Rob and it shows in the perfect finished job you're doing of the finishing touches that you act on your own advice.👍

Just been doing this very job and it is very fiddly to say the least to get everything to line up nicely, of course having a lovely workshop and lift like yours would help (with back pain if nothing else lol)

The Bike lift I have was the best tool investment I`ve ever done! Highly reccomend one, or even a cheap home made table, just to get it off the ground.

Kickback Garage I’ve only just bought these scooters and their isn’t too much left to do but we have another on it’s way from Italy that will more than likely need a full strip down so we will definitely be putting something in place because I can’t do the bending and kneeling any more lol

dord1954 I’ve recently invested in a lift. The best thing I’ve ever bought, I used to be in agony lying on the floor trying to do fiddly jobs. Not any more, don’t forget a height adjustable stool when you order yours.

I 100% agree. You don't need anything fancy and can pick them up used for about half the price too.

a couple of layers of masking tape really helps especially on the ends of the strips to stop scratches

It's looking nice Rob, I also drill runners, makes a neater finish. Can't understand why they didn't do it in the factory, probs slowed down production 😀colours growing on me too 👍🏼

The colour is the original colour for the later model that came with the flashy panels, this was probably white from the factory.

Another informative video, it must be hard to not only do the work but present the video at the same time.
I struggle doing one thing at once , multi tasking is not my strength!

I am getting used to talking to myself so thats starting to be natural but I use 3 times the amount of time, faffing around with cameras and sound then the whole editing game. On the other hand, I simply wouldn`t do it if no one found it interesting or I didn`t enjoy it.

Thanks for another great video. I look forward to seeing your videos each time, very informative as usual. Ps pain in the rear when you loose your biscuit like that😁. Keep up the good work. K

when I see your color Lambretta remind me with black Malaya guys... nothing is worth all about ego, repaint whole it back with metalic black and dark metallic red will be worth, for nose let it chrome ....(and used your own money)
