Quality Steve , warts and all ,nothing is so easy and loads of problems because nothing fits perfect , Lambretta tool kit ! Grinder tools ; reaming kit and a massive amount of patience !! Keep it up ,your tutorials have got a mad 92 year old biker keen on how things work again ! Reminds him of how he used to make things work on his old bikes .with what he could get! .engineering !,
Stephen you're Welcomme, you nourish my mind and you help me improve my mechanics so I nourish your body. But the calissons are eaten whole, the bottom is like an ostia.
I would have expected better fitting from AF and correct sized circlips, the newbie tinkerer might find this abit off-putting and above his skill level(could be because your using a new uni chain cover?older ones might be worn so machining not needed) anyways merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family👍🍺
Yours fitted easier than mine Steve! The teeth on the top of my shaft didn't mate at all with teeth in the the clutch arm / lever (FFS). I had to gradually file each individual tooth to get it to fit! (I also had to open up the aperture for the brass plunger). It works great once installed (AF 7 plate clutch) but way too much fettling for such a simple little upgrade.
Or you could just man-up and use stronger springs and set your clutch up properly, instead of falling for another cynical marketing ploy for something no one ever asked for or needed!!!
