I just ordered this knife from amazon, I really hope it does come in 440c steel because I saw a guy chop down a tree with this knife and it stayed sharp and didn't even dent the damn knife so I can't wait to get mine!! This knife is a beauty of a beast!!!

Oh man, This knife is The King of ALL knives!!! I love it very much and this will be handed down from generation to generation. This knife holds it's edge very well, and you could chop a living tree down with it. I highly recommend this knife, if you don't mind the weight, I suggest you get this knife. You can always put paracord in the lanyard hole in case you're working and your hand gets tired. I have seen the Buck Hoodlum knife and it's okay, but the Raptor is just better and tougher. Don't get the Kukri man, get this beast of a knife, you will not regret it. I stand behind it and in time, I'll buy another one in case they stop selling it because Mtech is known for discontinuing really good knives but for no reason at all.
It's holding up great. I have it dangerously sharp. There is this metal polish called Mothers California Gold, and it really makes the knife really shine so if you have any stainless knives, use this stuff, it'll make your knives look new. I love my Raptor, I sleep with it under my pillow. Sheath is also holding up great and I use Moneysworth Best Dubbin for waterproofing and cleaning the leather. It's the best Bowie out there if you don't mind the weight. It sharpens very easy, I thought I would have a hard time sharpening such a big blade, but no problems at all.
Also, I'm looking at quotes because I want to get my Raptor heat treated but I don't have the tools to do it but once I get it heat treated it will have a Rockwell hardness of 60. It'll be a Beast once I get through with it.
Mine is actually a little over 7mm. Any way they are awesome blades. I would take good care of it. They will triple in price in comeing years especially when they are out of production. Mark Holm ,... This is a good knife, but it’s made in China. It chipped the first time I took it out in the woods. The Pakistan made timber rattler western outlaw Bowie is a great “Budget” Bowie. It’s literally the BEST Bowie knife under $25 ! -- I have a knife maker in Pakistan who makes me awesome Custom Knives. Not everything from Pakistan is crap. Condor Knives is made in Pakistan. All I’m saying is: If I had to pick between a knife made in China or a knife made in Pakistan,... I’m going with Pakistan.
I had to stop watching this video and dislike for one purpose only, you cut the part when you remove the blade from the sheath, that’s the best part is the big revel......😡
