I love the silhouette of this kit. I feel that Bandai should of looked at the Moon Gundam for how they could of improved the functionality of this kit in my opinion. I definitely do not like the Funnel design though.
The fries with ketchup gundam. Honestly it looks better without that ridiculous funnels and sword. It should have had a sazabi shield and nu gundam rifle.

Hey man! So, I'm new at building gunplas and in this specific one there were a lot of parts that weren't used, for example there were parts of something like a machine gun and a rocket launcher and even something that resembled a shield. Could you tell me what do I do with those?
The inner mechanical part of the big sword is exactly the same as the one from Astray bf 2nd L kit, hence why the handle doesn’t fit in Nu’s hand. And also the reason why we got the knives, they’re also from Astray bf 2nd L, and they’re on the same runner as the sword part
i got this kit and it was the first kit i hand painted i went for mostly black with grey on the maron sections and left he gold with grey panel lines to break up the black i think it looks alot better than the reds but still is definitely just standing on my shelf and will stay that way
The Inner workings of the Sword, and the Two knives and their accompanying sheathes are all reused parts for the Modern HG Astray 2nd L kit. The all happen to be on the same runner as they were all a dark grey on the original kit, so that's why the knives are included.
Some will buy this kit... for Dragon Ball Z Fusion dance memes... Good thing there's the HGBC Zeon Weapons, if you want this guy's weapons. But in green.
The problem with the happy meal gundamn over here is the lack of color separation. Making the hoses on the torso and the inside of the shoulders and funnels dark grey would make the suit a lot more palatable. The orientation of the funnels doesn't pop either. Nu gundam's one wing that ascends upward is way more interesting that blocks of 3 in a straight line.
Does this kit straight up steal a runner from the Blue Frame Second L? The sword literally has the same handle, and has the same points of articulation, and those knives are from the Blue Frame as well.
Funny enough, you can attach the Mk2 backpack from the revive Mk2 on the Zeonic sword, I just figured it out when I realized they had the same slide peg. This also means you could technically attach a Barzam or Mk2 on the back of this guy upside down.
I want to like this kit, because I do like the design in general, and I love the shoulders and head design. In theory a “zeon” Gundam combining aspects of the Nu and a Sazabi should be awesome, but this seems like they kinda…ehh, did the bare minimum lol. I may pick it up just for the mobile suit, I don’t like the accessories at all. The funnels and the sword are dumb imo. It works fine for the show but I’d want to kitbash or modify this suit to fit more with the UC universe.

Well I'm not surprised as it was based on a pretty old mold. Despite the RG already out I do wish we had a revive of the Nu. Before anyone ask why, 1. It will be cheaper and easy 2. Well it deserves one at least
i love with every review i am shown something new on it. like how it has commander fins and zeong horns that make up the nu gundam v fin in a review i watched a few days ago. i still plan on getting this guy specially since im a sucker for large swords XD though one thing ive noticed is no matter which reveiwer i watch for this is i notice there are possible joints on the funnels but no one shows them off
I wonder if you could make something better by using the Hi-Nu Vrabe as a base. Or by giving the funnels to the Scramble Gundam, which I've always thought was incomplete.
Agreed with the shoulders - they look awesome. Not a great fan of the Nu Zeon, nut It would be interesting to see what could be done with this piece with a little painting and extra detailing.
I might get this kit to just test out my building and painting skills to see if I can tighten up those joints and make it look less like a McDonalds happy meal toy
can someone explain the difference between a fix figuration deep striker and the new deep striker that say 303 i believe, they look similar but idk if its a different version or what?
I think the cape could have looked better if it was made up of 3 segments on each side. That would allow some more points of articulation, and that could lead to better raised wing poses. Additionally, a paired set of funnels would look less goofy.
