Here’s the issue… we as customers have accepted mediocrity (Glock) as the standard but when exceptional (Echelon, H&K, Beretta, Canik, etc.) comes along, it’s not accepted. Crazy behavior, if you ask me.
I am surprised that everyone will say the Glock is more reliable because it has a proven track record. This mean that no one can make a new gun to compete with the Glock because its new. I am here to say that a lot of new guns have surpassed the Glock. Way more features than the Glock. Just say nothing will pass the Glock until that have been on the market for over 20 years.

They're proven, yes, but they lack many modern features and haven't innovated anything in decades. Poor trigger, poor ergonomics, relatively low capacity, most aren't optics ready, etc etc. Even the MOS system is a terrible mounting platform - not stable at all. You get WAY more for your money with the Echelon

I am a Springfield fan boy. I own hellcat pro xdm elite 10mm and the echelon. Im not a flock fan because people keep trying to shove then down people throat
The texture on the back plate is to palm slam it into battery if needed. Kinda like that they thought of that. You can tell the gun was well thought out.
The issue is once your in the glock eco system its hard to justify switching... by this time the mags holsters and aftermarket just makes it hard if not impossible. I literally find glock mags everywhere

@@TheLoneRanger745 The GPT is really a great upgrade for all Glocks. I had it on my 26 but ended up taking it out only because the trigger didn't lock when empty and I wanted to keep the function the same across the board. I really hope they release a GPT for the 43/48 series Glocks
I don't know, I'm not so happy with the feel of the GPT I installed on my G45. In that the distinctive break alas comes with a vibration. Am I the only one with mixed feelings about the thing ?
@@Tusk-ruk Nope when I initially installed mine I had a similar feeling. I was able to fix it by reinstalling it but holding the trigger bar closer to one side it's hard to explain but it's in the installation process
I shot the 4.0C a couple days ago along with my Glock 19 and CZ P10C. I ordered the 4.0C today. It's lighter than both with what feels like less recoil. I don't know if it's the grip or what but it shot better to me. I was able to get faster accurate shots on target. When you mentioned triggers the echelon and P10 have better triggers than Glock but like you I think my 19Gen5 trigger isn't bad
@@crbalch1 Nice! I was the opposite I ran my 4.0 vs my 19 and to me the 19 was so much softer on recoil it was crazy. To be fair, the 19 did have a light tho but I don't think it should've made that big a difference. Love them both tho that's for sure!

G19 on wife’s nightstand with 33rnd mag and tlr2 light laster.. that will not change ever no matter what.. I spend a lot of time out of town.. I wouldn’t trust any other pistol to that role. I don’t carry Glocks, I don’t shoot Glocks, I don’t care for Glocks.. but I sleep better when away knowing it’s going to work wo issue 33x in a row..

Just wondering, have you experienced any magazine baseplates coming apart when dropped ? I've heard reports where the magazine baseplates aren't secured properly ?
It’s interesting that so many videos on YT compares factory Echelon and more or less modified Glocks with aftermarket parts. Track record is meaningles in a way. Echelon is perfectly reliable handgun and it is product of evolution of handguns in general. Look just at dissasembly lever on Echelon vs those two small, I don’t know how to call them, cigarette lighter lever! Those are just inpractical (I understand that people can get used to it, but that’s not the point). And so on and so on…

And it's nice for people to see that there are other options out there that compare in size and dimensions yet have a lot more value for the money you pay. In my opinion the Echelon is better in every category except a couple important ones and that's the proven track record (not saying the echelon isn't reliable just saying that Glocks strong point) and surprisingly the 19 shot a lot flatter for me than the echelon. I couldn't believe how much softer the 19 felt. Regardless the echelon is an amazing gun and in my opinion the 2nd best release of 2024 (the MC9LS being 1st for me lol) Thanks for watching! 💯
Echelon compact is more reliable. Some people have had issues with their Sig fuses. Sig will sort the issues out, but I prefer guns that didn't have kinks to sort out on release day.
Just be sure to get a holster that covers the mag release. I had to reinsert my mags with the gun on my hip. Either that or get a mag release that is shaved down on one side.
Macro I think is a better gun. The fuse has had issues. The macro slide has been out a long time now. I have the macro and the xl. No issues. I was going to ge the fuse but I'm going to hold off for now. The curse is more like a glock 17

By today’s standards, Glock is so behind the curve given the functionality and performance of its competition. Their motto shouldn’t be “perfection”, it should be “meh, good enough”.
I've never been comfortable with the handle pitch of a Glock however the pitch looks similar. Did you feel any difference getting back on target faster with either? Also I'll say SA is evolving while Glock is staying classic Glock IMO

In regards to features and looks the Echelon has the Glock 19 beat it doesn't matter the generation there is no denying that and this is coming from a G19 owner. However the G19 does have the Echelon beat in one category and that is a reliable tract record spanning decades. Are Glocks perfect? no absolutely not I don't care what Marketing speak Glock throws at you no gun is perfect but the G19 like many other Glocks have a proven track record. Glocks have been used by the Military and are used extensively by law enforcement everyday all over the world. The Echelon is a better Gun but it hasn't proven itself yet time will tell if it is as reliable or more reliable then a G19.

The Echelon is not a fake Glock. It's a better design than Glock. I've shot Glock and replaced it with an HK VP9. An all around better gun. I'm going to pick up an Echelon 4.0 for a house gun.

I have both. I do like the echelon features. I found it recoiled more than my Glock. I'm going to try different springs and guide rod for the echelon.

The Sig Fuse has very good grip texture as well I’m indecisive about what to get, the echelon compact or sig fuse

They are almost identical with 15rd mags but the +3 on the echelon really gives it a much longer grip
