Been around Glocks for 30 years and I'm heavily invested in Glock pistols, parts, and holsters, I don't need anything else but the Glock cause I'm just familiar with them as my hands .
@@douglasphillips24 That's where a lot of people seem to be with Glock. Being familiar with it no matter what kind of Glock it is. Me personally I also love Glock. But I do think there are certain things they can add without sacrificing their reliability.
@@S.0.G Agree, Glock actually has lost a lot of revenue and user-base possibilities by not being the innovator. Their customers keep asking for the same things and Canik, Tissas, Springfield (or aftermarket) are answering… even Ruger! I bought the RXM over the G19. Not that Glock is hurting, but a lazy company “culture” can lead to a company’s demise. Many mighty companies have failed for resting on their laurels.
I am just now getting into firearms and I feel like the proven reputation of Glock makes me just want to invest in Glock specifically. Seems like a “can’t go wrong” decision to me.
Traded a couple sidearms for a 43x and Ruger RXM (it was better than the G19). Plan on staying with Glock mag compatibility and aftermarket support. Great video, thanks!

@ Man that’s an awesome pistol! Nothing comes close price-wise. Sadly no, funds are still funneling back to the mother ship. RXM has eaten everything I’ve thrown at it. Not nearly as refined as the Canik’s tbh, but I had to send 2 of my Caniks back for various issues within 100 rounds. 300 rnds of 115, 124, 147 HPs & Ball without issue, trigger better than the G19. My accuracy will match my Canik performance with an aftermarket trigger (Tactical Pontoon or Apex).

@@S.0.G Me as well! They are excellent! I have a couple friends that are CZ only guys :). If the Shield+ had fit my hand better I would have been a S&W guy probably, but after 3 months of research and speaking. With LGS’s and friends that are Reps in the industry, I settled on this direction. Interestingly they ALL had Ruger in their top 2 for customer support and reliability… also why I dropped on the RXM. Ruger also has the 9mm carbine I’m interested in (Glock mags), and I’ve had zero issues with any of their rifles. I plan on getting PSA Micro Dagger mags and a C-1 comped slide for the 43x :). I’d rather follow conviction than have the “toy” of my choice, but that’s a personal thing.. I purchase my Macs 2nd hand to sidestep my same concerns in the IT world.
I love my glocks! I find myself adding them to my collection, it's one of the best platforms, especially because they still have all sorts of calibers! You can't find that nowadays. Sure, other platforms may have some different calibers, just not like Glock! Sub compact, compact, full size frames all can be found in MANY calibers! Super reliable! I have all sorts of different guns that I like just a little more like my Echelon, Walthers, some Caniks, etc. But Glock is Glock and I still know that I can ALWAYS depend on them no matter tf what! 💯
For me Glock just fits my hand, when the boom happens. They feel terrible or passable static compared to holding any the HK’s, Sig’s and basically anything else. But when it’s time to throw freedom seeds the Glock just works, and my CZ’s of course. I keep trying to find something else to replace the need but I still haven’t found it yet.
Glock for sure is extremely reliable. Although I did have issues with a gen 4. Thesr days other than the 19X, G45 and G48 I don't take them out much. Many others have proven to be just as reliable. There's a reason why there's so many Glock clones, and everything claims to be a Glock killer. Glock set the standard. No brand can kill Glock but themselves. 👍

Glock and Smith and Wesson to me are the most reliable 🔥🔥🔥🔥 are. But I shoot my Caniks and Cz better. Never had a problem with my caniks. Mete sf is my edc at the moment

But You can put a gen 5 slide on a gen 3 frame you can use 19/17 frames to build or swap calibers with the 23/22 just change the ejector you can use gen 3 trigger shoe and gen 3 slide lock/release on a gen 5 frame you can use a 556 muzzle break or 762 I believe it is on a .40 barrel make a Kriss vector in .40 with the 9mm extension you also make one in 50 gi you can use a gen 3 guide rod in a gen 5 gun with a strike industries slide adapter not the dust cover piece that allows you to put a 22 slide on a 23 frame malting a Glock 23L or get the frame I have an do it lonewolf twf3 19L frame aim surplus has Glock 22s and 23s gen 3-4 nomore than 350 after tax classic firearms has a ar pistol with a 60 round and front and back iron sights and brace I think for 379$ #Freesauce🗣️

The first polymer frame pistol was not manufactured by Glock; in fact Heckler & Koch predates Glock by about 12 years

The main appeal is the platform they offer. I got a BRAND NEW Safariland 6280 holster for my Glock 17.5 for 20 bucks as police surplus.
