The beginning intro is like "Back in the day, people were chill and built a cool house, this made the gods pissed because they are dicks, the gods sent a bunch of assholes to wreck their vibe"
Maybe more like: “Back in the day, people were chill and used Mana to build lots of cool stuff. Then, they used Mana to kill each other with a cool house, and thus became less chill. Thus were the gods royally pissed, and sent out a mighty beast to wreck their shit. The beast and house started tearing the world a new one, when a Hero arose with a totally sweet sword and kicked both their asses. All the cool stuff was broken, but at least the world was chill. ‘Least until it all starts up again…”
No matter the number of glitches, and all the incomplete and cut content... it's the tragedy of trying to walk on stairs in this game that wounds my soul the most.
You know, this is quite a sad ending overall. Yeah, Randi and... Primm survive, but they've: lost a great friend, had to kill their own friend and ride Flammie, Primm loses Dyluck and her love, Randi has to now deal with being the Mana Knight and isolating after finding the next seed (which may very well be Primm). Bittersweet. A lot of loss to save the land and people, and they won't even be able to stay around as they'll he forced to return to the pure lands at some point to start the restoration of the Tree of Mana.
So, eight years before Super Smash Bros. Mêlée, wavedashing was a thing you could do in this game? Got it. D: 24:00: You gained Undine's powers! You can now suplex a boulder, just because you can!
Why? I can only theorize. Main one: they look smexy. Why not? =p. More can be seen in lots of anime. You would like Ladies vs. Butlers. Lots of ecchi. Free to watch online also.

I thought i was gonna watch Secret of Mana but instead got Getter Robo, with three hearts beating as one - while kicking major ass.
Who needs an actual mana sword when you got charge levels and moon magic.
