Yeah, it was really brutal testing that for a week straight ~4 hours a day. I ended up using the least ear-destroying outcome, which thankfully ended up being (one of) the fastest ways through it.
We don't actually know why it happens specifically, but the current theory is that it's because we're loading a map that is actually two maps with the same identity, called separately depending on different situations. Perhaps one of those situations is Verm being killed, we're not sure. But it basically plays two of the soundtracks and the game clearly doesn't handle it well.
I know this is extremely late, but to answer your question if you haven't figured it out already, he gets a jewel drop from the enemy and since the pot has a call bead in it, he is able to manipulate the amount of call beads looted from the pot by picking up the jewel drop first, and then looting the CB shortly after which gives him said number of the item. Same as how he looted the 7 clay in the begging of the forest area after killing the plant.
21:03 - I never, ever, EVER knew about this little Easter Egg. That is simply BRILLIANT!

Wow, holy shit! It's as if that's the ending of the game or something, which is always included in TVC uploads!

This game is fucking awesome ! :o
I'm someone who has a hard time breaking games naturally. SOE was so buggy it locked up more times than I could cope with while renting it.
Wasting time. Have to wait out the 14 minute forced timer. There is currently no way around it.
@21:10 KINDA BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL THERE!
i think you broke your shit at 59:00 :D
I am always glad when comments like this make it to the top so I can prepare. :)
I don't understand anything that's going on in the market.... is he some kind of breakdancer?
waiting for the timer to run to 0, in theory you have certain time to do enough trades to get some items, once the time runs out the game continues

2:00:50 - Extra credit for the patient.
it's any%, he bypasses a lot of alchemy and collectibles.
So is this like 100% or any% or what.
Any%. By default, TAS are any% unless specified
@@AwesomeHairo Oh thanks! Hah. 4 years late but it's aight.
This was a great run, but why is the video a half an hour of the "The End?" screen, and then 5 minutes of black screen?
Nocturnal Nights It's Bill's fault
