- This is a first look at our property after our tenant has left. They were in the process of being evicted and left shortly before the lease ended.
Uploading this to document the renovation process. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
That running down the walls is nicotine, when the steam is generated from the shower it condenses on the walls and runs down washing the nicotine down along with it.
Unreal. About a decade ago I broke up with the GF a couple weeks before the lease ended and decided to move out of town. Busy at work, stressful times, and everyone telling me that the place was fine. Still made it bleachy clean with my one day off. Self pride. Some people don't have it.
How can anybody live like this. I'm so glad my dad and grandma showed me how to keep a clean and orderly place. This is down right skickeng. Smh 😢😢
That bathroom looked like a level off Resident Evil Village
😂
This is exactly why I’m not getting into real estate.
It is good most of the time, but oof can the bad times be bad.
My god they left so much stuff, and filth! That bath tub is horrendous! Good luck 🍀 show us the after clean up 😊
Wow that is really a very nice place.Oh what I could do with that house and ake it a home. That enclosed porch and the backyard outside space with all of that greenery, with the proper landscaping it could really be an oasis.🌴❤🍷📚
Use to have a Facebook friend that lived in California with her husband & kids (she's a native of Cambodia, Naturalized US Citizen) and they had property they rented to tenants. I recall she posted on her FB the problems in receiving the rent money owed by these tenants and the stonewalling by them. When they finally legally evicted them after issuing numerous legal notices of evictions, the tenants finally left but the place was a unbelievably horrific mess. Rotting food (that attracted maggots) and other stuff all over the place and piles of trash knee deep as well as damaged/broken furniture and furnishings everywhere. So bad that my friend and her husband had to hire hazmat to clean out the place. They then quit the rental business and moved to the eastern part of the USA to restart their life there, never getting back into the rental business.
I believe it! Rental business isn’t for everyone, it’s hard work. We spent over 3 months cleaning, updating and renovating this property after they left.
I could never be able to handle renting any property out....I would not be able to handle that....😮
Luckily tenants like these are in the minority 😅. This tenant was grandfathered in when we purchased the property (it was in much better condition). In hindsight we should have done a background check on them...lesson learned.
@lifescribbs9219 I'm sorry that happened though.
That running stuff in bathroom wall is nicotine that got steamed by shower. Was thinking about rentong my home when i move in my new one. This video changed my mind. Some people dont appreciate anything
Being a landlord definately isn't for everyone, it can be alot of work and stress.
THE STUFF RUNNING DOWN THE WALL IN THE BATHROOM IS NICOTINE STAINS WHERE IT GOT SO HOT IN THE ROOM IT CAME OUT OF THE WALLS. HEAVY SMOKERS, I AM SURE.
streaking in bath is from people smoking most likely …
I’d say while taking a bath, but damn ! that tub !! 😳
@@snowycatinseattle I have no understanding of why people smoke in the bathroom …
is it men on the 🚽 ??? 🤷🏼♀️
😂
Landlords no longer care who they rent to as long as they get the money.
I think it is quite the opposite. They would like to use a lot more criteria to weed the bad ones out, but much of the information they could acquire is illegal to use. They pretty much have to go by the credit report, and maybe by contacting the last landlord. But lots of previous landlords don't want to tell the truth because they don't want face legal issues.
Absolutely the opposite. We gave them the benefit of the doubt since they didn’t cause the previous owner any issues. We were too nice and I think that’s why we got taken advantage of :/
As a person who rented a home for many years we prefer that we have respectful tenants who pay their rent. We had a mortgage to pay so I have no idea where you get the idea anyone would rent to anyone.
Beautiful apartment. Gorgeous backyard. How can people be so inconsiderate? I wonder how long they've been living there. Disgusting!
Thank you for the kind words! They lived there 7 years (2 with us).
I just recently moved out of a house I lived in for 8 years or so. Not only did I get my whole deposit back but my landlord rented it out for more than what I was paying & she rented it out in only a couple of weeks time. She had to do absolutely nothing to it. I took care of that place like it was my own.
Beautiful place so sorry 😢
Thank you, it was a lot of work but we put in some sweat equity and renovated it completely :)
That place is clean compared to what I just went through!!!!!
Not easy being a landlord 😅
It looks like they done their best to destroy it. Some people live like pigs. Not a good idea to rent your house sell it.
You got off easy, when i trash a rental i take a bat to the toilet, punch holes in the walls, pour bleach on the carpet, break windows. I don't play. Get out the mop bucket, clean, haul the garbage out, and you'll be good to go. If you would have done routine property inspections you could have avoided this.
When it gets too dirty they move. I wonder why no one wants to invest in real estate. Government rules allowed this now the government will have to solve the homeless problem. Couldn't see this coming?
The bathtub has never been cleaned by these renters.
Absolutely disgusting. How can people live like this????
Is it possible to write a clause in a lease that says "if you're a dirty hoarder, the lease is void"? (In a legal way of course lol)
I own my condo and thinking about more and renting them out, ill be doing a full background check, including criminal, financial and history of renting! I have no tolerance for lowlife’s! I was homeless at one point at time, I’ve learned alot and dont take no crap from anyone regardless race, gender or no political crap!
That fuked up how someone leaves a property looking like this to seem to be a beautiful home.
Yes, apparently this person started doing drugs the 2nd half of the year, really sad situation.
Nastyyyy I am so sorry 😢
Disgusting how can you have a shower like that
It is easy to say ..."hoarder, dirty pigs...how can they live like that..ect" but often it a mental disorder that leads to houses that looks like that.
1:24 nicotine drips my house use to be owned by a 4 pack chain smoker im verry familiar with that it still happens some times 27 years later
Look at it like this atleast u got ride of the trash people.
Ohhh I was gonna say you got off lightly
OMG 😱
What a silly Tennant 😡
Looks like someone smoked in the bathroom.
Is that what that is?? It really looked like a murder scene
@@lifescribbs9219 the medium amber brown drips on the bathroom wall were tobacco stains. Heavy indoor smoking leaves that type of damage.
Ye brown stains are from smoking when I first moved in my property the people before chain smoked I painted the walls it would come back used sugar soap gradually it all faded thankfully 😊
Greese from cooking unhealthy cheap meat. Nicotene.
What's greese?
*Promo sm*
What the fk!
My thoughts exactly!
🤢
Rich people problems. Youre covered by insurance.
Most of what is visible there would not be covered by standard insurance.

@@jburt552 based on what? There is a lot of junk left behind and the place is very dirty. Thats several thousand probably to clean up. Much less than a typical landlord policy deductible. And no insurance is going to pay for repainting. Its a routine landlord expense. But in terms of actual damage there doesn't appear to be that much from the video.
I've had to clean up after several tenancies that ended with units looking like this. Never even tried to file a claim because it would be pointless. Just raise the rent to market for the next person.
The only claim I HAVE ever filed was for a fire caused by a tenant who left a pot cooking and went to work. The pot boiled down and caught fire. Damage was minimal but it smoked out the whole unit, wrecked the range, and scorched the cabinets and fridge. That claim ended up being for about $5000 of which after deductible and other insurance nonsense I got about two thousand reimbursed.
The best defense landlords have against tenants who do stuff like this is good screening and background checks. The more people who try to pull stuff like this video the harder and more expensive it will be for anybody to rent.
@@madderscience nice novel bro
I just want to clean this house so badly 🫠🫠🫠
