I'm from El Paso so Chico's Tacos is a favorite always! But the Tacos and food in general down in the Rio Grande Valley is the best!!
The RGV is the birthplace of Tex Mex cuisine, and of course the tacos are the best.

We moved to Fort worth in the early to mid 90's and my mom started a taco truck and introduced the taco tapatio to Fort worth now these tacos are hit here my got sick and doesn't do it anymore but we started a new tradition of tapatios every year the day after Thanksgiving with the left over turkey we make turkey tacos tapatios over two decades doing that now great video keep it up
I had breakfast tacos at a tiny shack in Port Aransas. So good, with a wash tub full of iced sodas and fresh salsa.

It's taco Tuesday so I will get my favorite on the way home. A grilled chicken taco fully loaded on a fresh made flour tortilla with lime serrano sauce 🤤🌮🌮🌮🤤

I made some mexican pork meatballs the other day. I'm putting them in some street tacos today with shredded cabbage, pickled red onion, pico and lime sour cream. Cant wait. I'll update after lunch. 🌮

As a south Texan living in northern Colorado, I loved this episode. I regularly make breakfast tacos at home since it's not a cultural norm around here. Chorizo con papas or refried beans, bacon, and egg are staples. Smoked, fatty brisket with guac is probably my favorite taco, especially if the salsa melts your face off. Black coffee (at breakfast) or a cold beer and a side of charro beans seals the deal for me. Of course I have to spend 10-12 hours smoking a brisket, but it's worth it for the next couple of weeks.

California is the capital for Mexican, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese. Texas does have good BBQ but most of your Mexican food is horrible

@@ghernandez559 you’ve been to the wrong places. Authentic Mexican (not TexMex) in Texas is delicious. Even my daughter’s MIL (from Mexico) has shown us the best traditional places. Good stuff.

If you want some really good breakfast tacos, you need to check out Tomas Bakery in Cloverleaf, Tx(Houston). The tortillas are handmade. The flour tortillas are fluffy and amazing. Reminds me of my mothers. The tortilla is made when you order. They even have premade so you can just cook them at home.

Here in the Brazosport area of Texas the BEST taco is the breakfast taco, the Hippo. Eggs, bacon, chorizo, potato, beans, cheese, I always order extra cheese AND a gravy bowl full of salsa!

I know people hate on them but I LOVE the crunchy ground beef tacos from Casa Olé in Houston. Put some Casa Olé red sauce on that thang with shredded cheese and lettuce…. So simple yet so delicioso!!!

The best fish tacos ever are at Berryhill Tamales in SW Houston.....the sauce they use on the “original” is the best ever!

In Godley TX there is Del Norte it in my opinion has the best brisket taco in all of the Texas I have been in

You should try Gorditas Express in Emory, Texas. My husband and I traveled all over Texas and a few other states, for over a decade and their cactus taco, spicy pork, and tostadas (add pico to it) are amazing! We always get corn tortillas.
