Yum! Rays puffy tacos are delish. Go to Garcias for the brisket tacos with guacamole. Oh well there's too many places to mention. San Antonio Tex Mex is the BEST!

I’m from San Antonio and Ray’s Drive Inn is one of my favorite places to eat. Another one is Tejas Cafe. Most really good food in San Antonio is mostly off the path of hot tourist spots. I just wish I could eat them there because eating them to go is not the same! It’s one of the nice little things we had to give up because of the pandemic. San Antonio we need to fully open!

Seriously, I was expecting a 40 minute review of unique eats. The first 5-10 minutes was good, followed by a 25 minute HEB commercial.
Now, I don't even trust his suggestions....

You want Tex Mex? You hook up with a local and attend a backyard barbecue. That is the full experience.

Was in San Antonio in March to see my son graduate BMT BUT his was the first class to not get to have visitors due to covid. Now I have a chance to come out and again to see him BUY now he may be quarantined again. But I will definitely look some of these up IF they are open.

Mayonnaise has more spice than this video. Tlahco in San Pedro south of North Star mall is one of the few that serve Mexican food PERIOD!

grain 4 grain says no market for grain waste? bs there is a big market. Soy processing plants, ethanol and molasses as well. by products in Texas are shipped to West Texas cattle feed plants even frito lay bean juice is recycled for animal feed. These are all food grade products hauled by food grade tankers. Eliminating tankers going empty to dairy producing areas.

Sangria on the Burg was a huge disappointment! The smoked pork belly, brisket, and ribs were all cooked in the oven. No smoke flavor in the meat.

"Birthplace" of Puffy Tacos is NOT in San Antonio...It's in Rio Grande city at Caro;'s where they have been made since 1925.
Don't fry in canola oil not only is it horrible for you but doesn't have any flavor. All seed oils like that are bad for you. You should have used pork fat
