Do not be scared the best thing you can do to start recovering from DP/DR is continue living with your life as if you didn’t have the condition it can be hard but little by little you’ll get through it. DP/DR is like the clown I.T the more you fear it the bigger and scarier it gets and starts controlling you but when you refocus your mind and your thoughts and start breathing it becomes powerless.
“The tougher the day the greater the strength the harder the test the greater the power”
We are all truly blessed and will overcome this and realize it has made us stronger. We will appreciate life more and will take the good risks in life that will make us move forward in our lives. Once you have overcome this horrific feeling everything else in life will make you fearless. We can say I been through hell and back and there is nothing else that can face me. This is an awakening to your great power.
We are all strong and it’s our time to thrive to do good in ourselves and other people in our lives. You are the mind, the body, the soul, the spirit, and the god of your path my friends.

I’ve been following you a while Aly.
I’ve had DP/DR for nearly 4 years- still trying my best to recover but I’m also learning to live life with the disorder. Which sounds like the point that you’ve reached.
Not giving up but also trying to just live life.
One thing I don’t know if you’ve spoke about is but do you deal with anxiety? I know DP can be its own disorder but it’s also heavily linked with anxiety/stress. Trauma too but that’s it’s own very complicated issue.
When you were 14 did you have panic or anything bad happen?
    Keep your head up Aly.

Nice to hear that Aly , and yeah I do not travel as well as I am having fear of plane , would go with a bus haha and yeah we are all capable , most of disorder comes from low self esteem and fears that just add up and get into full blown panic and DP/DR
Glad that you travelled alone :D the best experience. been for me too
    and yeah I have 24/7 DP/DR
AntunAnic is my IG if you wanna share , I left a note to one guy on TH-cam as well , he seems my kind of person too
Wish you all the best in any case and you're already on the great path , just keep on going as you started

Do you think you can overcome if its constant

    • @isabels2973

I see you everywhere and I cant talk cuz I have been on videos too but yes dpdr is constant for everyone all the time. Its a black hole we have to slowly crawl ourselves out of there will be set backs but thats with recovering from anything. Depression, regular anxiety, physical weight loss, anything. Takes consistency and confidence and trying different things. Ive broken out of this a few times and gone back in but thats apart of it all. Find ways to lessen anxiety/tension, and that goes for social anxiety, physical anxiety, and the anxiety of that anxiety. practice deep breathing & going with life
