    Another great snack that I always have on hand is a bag of bacon crumbles. You can get them in the salad dressing section of Wal Mart. A small bag is $1.70. I think it's 2.5 or 3 ounces. I keep them in the car and even some in my golf bag. Bacon is never a wrong choice.

    Recently ate at a restaurant with the family. Ordered a burger with a side salad because I’m not carnivore right now, just keto. Took my burger apart & as I was chucking my buns on the table and taking all the croutons off my salad, the waitress walked by with a look of total confusion. People are so nosey about what you choose to do with your own buns. 😂

    • @maressia00

    The sour cream with pork rinds was my aha for the day…month. I love them both, but had never considered eating them together. I would just eat half a dozen or so rinds, and then be too dried out to enjoy another one, but not be able to get over my crunch craving. AND, I often toss sour cream that I leave too long. This answer to my dilemma is da bomb.

    • @lvrichardson7966
      @lvrichardson7966 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Add a tiny bit of dried ranch seasoning to your sour cream unless you're a purist. Let it blend for a couple of hours or any time. Also sour cream (unless it has a bunch of additives like guar gum) doesn't usually go bad. It's already bad, lol. That's what makes it "sour". In fact, you can mix a little sour cream with more heavy cream, leave it out overnight, and have more sour cream in the morning. Use common sense for this, of course. I do it all the time, but my house is usually cool at night, not 80 degrees.

    I've picked up sausages at a gas station, they're pretty decent in a pinch. I'm guilty of picking up a Rotisserie chicken before driving on the Ferry for my commute home. I keep napkins, baby wipes and utensils in my car. My fav on the go meat meal is Lengua tacos without the tortillas or Shawarma without pita. Just a big plate of meat with their homemade salsa or yogurt sauce. Your ideas are great!

    Thanks, Laura, I find your channel the most helpful of all the carnivore videos. Thanks for sharing so much of your life, yours and Chris’ journeys and even getting to watch your wonderful kids and how they’re growing up in your very normal family. I’ve also loved the videos with your Mom, I’m a retired grandad of three and have enjoyed her openness and honesty as well, being someone who’s older and working their way into this WOE. Thanks for making the carnivore life look so doable in the world we live in. Finally, thanks for making this video so straightforward and to the point, for taking us to the places you’re talking about and showing us where you’d go and how you’d do it. You make it look simple and that’s real magic. Thanks!

    I recently got on a semi-carnivore diet, low carb, low sugar, and I can see my tummy already shrinking, I scrolled on to your channel and I’m impressed by your weight loss, the problem with me is everything I eat has to be organic, I eat clean and especially now, clean food is a life and death situation, also, I have to have something green in my meals like a small salad or something, I don’t think that can harm me......So! I do leave home I just eat before I go...

      @MSG....your title is what I fear the most....and why I like carnivore, the additives in products sends me to the emergency room, so I need to be careful about what I eat. Love this way of eating 😋 😍 safer, for me.

    small can of sardines is good for me. I keep a few on hand to grab if I am going out for long, couple cheese sticks and I am ready for the rest of the day. A small bag of pork rinds can finish it off.

    Last weekend, I was out grocery shopping for the family and picked up a pound of cleaned, no tails shrimp from the fish counter. Should have only purchased half of that but was just perfect and I felt like I had just eaten at my favorite restaurant without the cost and cleaner. $5

    Was sitting outside of Costco with cart of groceries, awaiting my friend. Reading, people watching gnawing rotisserie chicken 🐔. A funny older (than me) grandma sat down- she laughed & said”smart girl” we always seem to do the same o our way home. 🤓. Elizabeth
